  • Lol @Shane718 Yeah I'm sure the judges who are each selected indivisually to judge one of the biggest drama events ever 'suck'. I think Luffy is right :O You mad bro?

  • AWESOME AWESOME AMAZINGG...SHROOOMTASICC!!!B.E.

  • this is by far the definition of dtasc .

  • Wow! That's what got 1st place? This is definitely their finest work of of crap. Hesperia(today's Oak Hills) is filled with some of the most ridiculous actors I've ever seen. The staging has been done so many times now and their acting is nothing special whatsoever. They look like a bunch of spastic little kids putting on a reenactment of Toy Story for their parents in the backyard. The judges at DTASC must really suck if they think this is anything above bullcrap.

  • @Shmee718 Is somebody mad that they didn't make it to finals?

  • @Shmee718 u mad bro??

  • i got first place at dtasc...so fun

  • That was really good, not as good as Encores DTASC, but still good!

  • AMAZING!

    too legit hahaha

  • @Luffy55555 I had a great time watching it. =) I was in the Irish scene. Loved this at DTASC and at the Barnsdahl performance. Great job!

  • dude, you guys were freaking awesomee :D

  • Was this the finals?

  • Omg tim and tyler haha

yuu guys did so good same with the other guys haha!!

  • i love dusti porres!!

    i look up 2 him

  • el camino's evil dead was BOMB. one of the best scene's i saw at dtasc hands down

  • @megasuperawesome righttt? i loved it so much. that was my school's... i think it deserved to win first or at least second!

  • @ECRbroadcasting hesperia is overrated, trust me. i've seen them perform for years. they recycle scenes and yell their lines. el camino has great character actors and actually stay true to dtasc rules instead of doing the same shtick over and over again. i wish palos verdes peninsula still competed!

  • @megasuperawesome if it's not broke, don't fix it.

  • @Luffy55555 thats so pathetic haha. whatever works for you guys. winning isn't everything but hesperia's rep within dtasc is by far the worst in terms of sportsmanship. i can't even count how many times i've seen that romeo and juliet scene. vom city

  • @ECRbroadcasting i completely agree. just because hesperia shouts every line and slams chairs at every opportunity doesn't mean they have good actors. at least el camino doesn't act like total douchebags at festival to other schools

  • @megasuperawesome I know i room chaired for a group from hesperia and they do inventive staging but their acting has something to be desired for

  • This is my favorite in DTASC so far!

    Great job!

The best I've seen, yet. :)

  • Oh they are all so funny. :D I love them!

  • Hesperia Drama > Pixar

  • haha im guessn dis is C division rite? lol

    very good!

but i thought we werent aloud 2 bring in fones or cameras wen performing cuz of distraction???

  • SOMEONE DID EVIL DEAD 09 DTASC?

My school was the first to bring Evil Dead to DTASC :O

    never recorded it...

  • @B00TYxC0RE i think el camino high did evil dead at fall dtasc

  • @theofficefan731 Yes El Camino brought Evil Dead to DTASC and it was probably the best scene ever! Too bad it won 4th.

  • Man that guy playing Woody is freaking sexy!

  • brian?? realy?? haha

  • we rule lol

  • SID WAS FUCKING BAD ASS AHAHA

  • I saw u guys perform this at DTASC. Congrats on 1st place.

  • who's that in the green shirt? can I have his number?

  • Hey D - Steph here - just saying congrats! Totally amazing! Plus close to 2000 views!! I am going to try and make this thing go international and pass it on to folks here!

    So proud!

  • so damn good. like SO DAMN GOOD.

  • These guys were completely crazy and amazing! This video does not do them justice... I performed oin this same category... with toy story!! when i saw them perform i was like "oh well. at least i made it to semi-finals." lol. totally great.

  • beautiful job, gents way to go! Congrats on 1st place!!!!

  • Hey guys, good job(:

We knew we were beat as soon as you guys performed,

    so props to you guys(:

We were the toystory group in your semifinals round.

  • Did anyone see the skit in the "Theatre for Social Change" category with the little autistic boy (played by a girl)? Made it to the semi-finals?

  • i will say this a thousand times

this is the FUNNIEST scene i have ever seen!

    you guys kick ass!

  • Hey, you guys did an amazing job. My friend was in the other toy story group but i give you boys props!

    you did the movie justice!

  • dang i knew you guys would

win i was a friend of goodfellas

    amazing performance

i dont know how you could change it at all

  • I freaking love you guys, hopefully our RENT final is just as amazing as this!! - Loren

  • oh my god ! this was an amazing play !! :) i loved you guys ! <3

  • I still can't believe how good you guys did. I want all four of you to have my children.

    - Ryan from Hesperia's Large Group Comedy (The Odd Couple)

  • this scene was so great. seriously, best blocking ive seen since the scotts on the rocks scene. I was the first annie hall, the 2 person one, who went first. god this scene was awesome.

  • You guys were awesome. I was a judge in the 2nd round. Am I allowed to say that? LOL

  • also, if anyone saw the evil dead musical, IT WAS THE SHIT. i didnt stop laughing for a second. =D

and the wizard of oz with the giant face, and the little shop where they ate the girl! it was SO much fun.

  • Haha, I loved that Little Shop version (we were the other one Little Shop in finals) and I thought it was amazing. My group went nuts about it and the whole way home they were complaining about 'well we had better vocals!' In all honesty though, Entertainment Value > Any other criteria

Evil Dead blew me away, but my favorite had to be Tick Tick Boom or the Chicago scene with all the girls in black tights, though it might've been my favorite just for that reason.

    Go DTASC.

    -The other Orin

  • =D i was there, the applause for you guys was the loudest ive heard for anything. you guys deserved it 100 percent. i knew you guy's were going to win the second you went in round 1.

both annie halls, duck soup, forest gump, streetcar, and the clockwork orange where they DEMOLISHED the chair were amazing too! i know im forgetting some, all of you were fucking fantastic though.

  • i have to say this scene truly was amazing.... even though the gym was ridciously hot you guys captured my attention

  • dang!

    speechless!

    this scene was AMAZING!

    great job guys! :)

  • I LOVE YOU GUYS. (cough, it's Heather, by the way, cough.) You know I completely cried when this won, Bryan and Tyler, you are my babies, you know, I had to cry for you guys. Way to NOT LET HESPERIA DOWN! I'm so proud of you guys! I LOVE YOU!

  • congrats you guys. i was in the afi category and automatically knew you were a scene to watch. amazing job =)

  • You guys did a great job and am proud of you all. Especially my grandson (Tim in the green T-shirt). See you at your performance in Hollywood and hope you blow the competition away!!!!

  • Freakin best scence in the world!!! Congrats guys!!!

  • i'm with the school who did sophie's choice (the german scene) and we all loved your scene. you guys really deserved first. congrats!

  • heyy i was there! i love this scene good job and congrats!

  • i truley have to say this scene was bomb! really creative hope to see you guys at shakespeare and congrats on wining 1st place

    whoot! whoot!

  • i was at DTASC and you guys are probably my favorite scene overall

    THE CLAW IS EPIC!

  • I was buzz in the scene and I can speak for the whole group when I say our competition in AFI was crazy. Annie Hall, Clockwork orange, streetcar, the german scene, plus all the others, it was an honor competing against you. See you guys at shakespeare hopefully.

  • This was great! I was at DTASC and you guys really showed us what we need to do as a beginner school to make it in the competition. so thanks a bunch!

  • I FINALLY get to show my parents exactly what DTASC is all about. It was honor to watch the scene 3 times. I would buy it on DVD if this was the only thing on the DVD.

I'd buy a Blu-Ray player for it. You can see where I'm going with this.

    Congratulations for the 1st place!

(Other Alvy from 3rd place Annie Hall)

  • Oh, and I can vouch for everything that kikisblue66 said.

  • I'm the final-monologuing Alvy from the four-person Annie Hall. I LOVE THIS SCENE AND I AM SO GLAD THAT I WAS IN THE ROOM AND SAW YOU GUYS THREE TIMES.

  • Comment removed

  • This is Annie Hall (the one that did the whole movie), and I secretly have been waiting for this video to be posted just to say how incredible you guys truly were! We didn't get to congratulate you when you won, so we thought this would be the best way.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

You deserved it and we adored your scene tremendously!

  • i was the angry guy in the streertcar scene, this scene was fucking great :D

  • good job

  • I was Lucy in Your A Good Man Charlie Brown for the Open Musical category, which only made semi's, so I came the AFI room and saw this and was BLOWN AWAY. You guys really took it a step farther than any DTASC scene I have ever seen. You guys should be really really proud for producing such a brilliant scene. :]

  • Haha, Honorable Mention Little Shop for Musical here, (The one that didn't win, haha) and I gotta say, you guys were great. Monologue kid, you were awesome, and Irish Playwrights blew me away. Really great, all of the winners. The comedy group was a bit too low-brow for my taste, but to each his own. The Toy Story scene was amazing; the spider-baby-thing made laugh so hard. Hopefully Carlsbad will see all of you in the Spring for Shakespeare.

  • Awesome job last night guys! Im never gonna get tired of dustin's laugh. Wahahaha!!!

  • Hey! I was the monologue kid at awards. I never got the chance to tell you, but I really liked your performance--Sid, in particular, was freakin' hilarious (and the crane-sound blew me away). Great work.

  • Monologue kid!! I was at DTASC too, my friends were the "Irish Playwrights" winners. I was also a Semi-Finalist in the "Theatre For Social Change" section. You were very good!! And Toy Actors, I'm very impressed!! The blocking here is genius!!

  • Thank you! Your Irish playwrights friends were hilarious.
