you "table football" is stupid, just moving around.

try Portuguese table football aka Matraquilhos or Matrecos, and you will see real deal.

I've been playing tournament foosball since 1996 and I'm still baffled every time I see tournaments played on a Tecball table. The Tornado tables are superior in every way. And that goes for just about any of the "European" tables they use. You can see it in this video, how the ball still continues to move everywhere even after its stopped. I'm just confused on why they haven't all gone Tornado or at least designed one that's as good.

Why do they take so long to shoot after passing it to the three bar? I shoot maybe 1/2 a second after I catch it. Speed and accuracy. No doubt they would woop my ass any day, but it seems like they would be even morer devastating if they didnt give the D a chance to set up or think. Especially in singles.

cause that was a nationts cup, the brittish team chose the tornado table but the team from germany chose the tecball table... the tables are different... I play on garlando but my skill on bonzini is low!

They probably are better players but I don't find them that exciting to watch. They use barely and trick shots and varieties ------> not looking that special.

Also, look at the bit at 1:13. It was a good shot, but the goalie really should have stopped that.

I can see how you think that, but it's harder than it looks. The video camera does not do it justice. The raw power and speed needed for shots or precise control to shoot and catch a pass is difficult to obtain or even understand in a video forum. I agree pub or bar play is more fun, match play is very stressfull.

Find a good player and try it sometime. Sport vs Game: Definitely a skillfull game. Fat guys can play! But it helps to be in shape.
