It's easy to look past the mistakes and hear the unique interpretation of the music. it's quite natural in expression which is the whole point of playing music, and you show great promise! The key here is preparation. Keep up the good work.

Even though you had some mistakes, this was the best one I've seen so far, because you put the rhythm and everything together better than anybody else, including famous guitarists that play this.

you playing flows nicely from part to part, I have attempted this song and only managed about the first minute or so haha, I would say it is an intermediate piece but due to it's length it may be ranked harder

I agree with kassurin and bakdgreat. Your techinique is quite good, but the phrasing is what makes the piece. Might I suggest you listen to Fritz Kreisler and his music? Keep up the good work!

Good job, you're in the right way.

You've just had some technical difficulties, but about your interpretation, that's pretty good. In my point of view, there are some great guitarists, as David Russel, that don't have success playing this piece. They don't understand that choro needs swing. Try to find some Brazilian playing it, and you'll see our way to understand a choro. Maybe it can help you.

I am very familiar with this choro and from experience can say that you are doing an excellent job. One way to add feeling, as it were, is to accent every note stoccato like- in the same vein as Julian Bream which i hope you saw yourself.

thanks for the comment! great playing.. have you ever heard Dyens play this choro?? it's on his villa lobos disc (where he also plays his own 'hommage'). Dyens plays it in a rather unorthodox fashion, but it's very interesting and unique. i find many players play too alike.

well it's a brazillian dance, so it should be up, at bars 10, 12 and all subsiquent bars with that them, don't take so long to get to the D and C, yes holding it sounds great but stay within the meter until you hit it. the chords at the bottom of the first page starting a :47-1:00, feel free to change color and crescendo with them, just stuff like that should give you some more freedome
