@loveismydestruction this is absolutely a madrigal...its in the Oxford book of Madrigals...also as a music major...I have only heard this song as being a madrigal.
We tried to sing this in choir a few years ago...this song is sick, haha, it's superhard! but when it's sung right, it's so beautiful, like you all can hear :D
has anyone noticed that "Madrigal History Tour" sounds a lot like "Magical Mystery Tour" (The Beatles)? Haven't bothered to check the earlier comments, just struck me.
What a hilarious video! And what an insuperable quality of singing!

@loveismydestruction a ballett is a madrigal btw: there are three types you have the madrigal propre, the ayre and the ballett so it is a madrigal
quite catchy tho :P

Actually, they don't. There's a difference between "verb" and "predicate". Plus, not even linguists agree on what really is and isn't a sentence.
In spite of which the King's Singer still rule.

When my music history teacher introduced this Madrigal to my class, all of us couldn't keep a straight face.
And now I'm doing an essay about this Madrigal (as part of my assignment).
