Ok, seriously speaking now.

I think there is no better or best Final Fantasy , all the stories and musics are all unique , it is like the staff always gave it their all on each one like it would be the last game like the title suggests Final Fantasy. I would usually think that FF8 was the best but looking at other people say FF7 was the best I realized that was not true.. It was not like FF8 was the best.. It was just my personal favourite.. That I could relate to it better than 7.

@ghagha20 yeah i can understand you^^ it is weird but imo FF7 is the best game of them... but still FF9 is my beloved favourite which i can relate to the most. the atmosphere and the characters are so encouraging and so is the soundtrack. too bad that many people did not even play it

@TheNoctisCaelum FF8 is just a love story, in my opinion FF7 added a little bit more to the plot... the world felt bigger and somehow alive, in ff8 the world was just about seeds and witches ... I´m not saying ff7 is the best game and the best story in the world, i still think is overrated, but definitely better than ff8, and there is no way for ff8 to have a sequel, there´s nothing more to tell, frankly the story was poor

In FF series I would say that the best music and story is FF6

@thedragoonknight I think the game is cool but I do think too that some characters are lack of life and background, like selphie, zell, irvine, and even quistis, the script is wierd for an RPG, thats to me what makes the story poor, the only well developed characters are squall and rinoa, and of course ultimicia, she is quite a pleasant boss since she is all about mistery, but other characters had nothing really good to say or to do, What do u like about it? maybe i have to play it 1 more time

@abdelgomez The story is honestly very confusing, but each character has some sort of hidden background to them. Try playing it again, I love how the story is twisting and confusing, but not nearly as convoluted like Chrono Cross.

They could have added more but it was the playstation lol things were alot limited. even for 4 discs

The story in FF8 is very beautiful, but FF7 is simply wonderful.

Each character of FF7 has a particular background. Aeris, Cloud, Zack, Vincent, Tifa, ... Even Cait Sith!!

And you can confirm that Sephiroth's the @#€£&%$ boss in all the FF saga!

I'm not surprised to know that FF7 is the best-selled chapter!
