  • Thanks a lot Ryan, very good videos, very informative for a "greenie" like me. Keep up the good work. And A Happy New Year to you. :-)

  • Only seen this First video. First thing I thought of was; I am sure not going to try to draw out of a clip on holster. Still looking for another smaller Carry Gun. My 9mm Browning Semi Auto seems too big. Also have pocket .38 five shot. But it is pretty old and am not sure I want a Semi Auto. Maybe except a new Glock 36 Thought a small revolver would be more dependable.

  • Im in florida its 90 every day i carry with a t-shirt and i print! im not goin gto over heat! nice video

  • good videos 1,2, and 3 and great info! keep up the good work and stay safe

  • Man you have to live up north its way to hot down here for all that. At most I will wear two shirts and after I get this new holster I will be down to just one.

  • just wear 20 shirts to conceal a gun. no thanks. if something happens just run away

  • Thanks brother! Nice to have simple demonstrations like this. It will help other new gun owner like me I am sure!

  • Good fast draw, but it is advisable to use both hands to move the shirt or jacket out of the way, while then continuing in one motion use the draw hand to finish with the draw. Think of this as in a fluid motion sweep, efficient, sure and ending with both hands securing the weapon on target.

  • Good vids Ryan!

  • Thanks Ryan, you showed a few things i have not even thought about.

I am applying for my cpl and should get be allowed to carry, in about a month.

  • Thanks Ryan, you showed a few things i have not even thought about.

  • @rstawarz111 Locked and cocked it the ONLT way to go. Every LEO and Military person I know does it that way. It also MAY prevent an accidental discharge if the weapon is dropped on a hard surface hammer-side down.

  • Great series on CCW options, Ryan. If I may add one thing regarding the Inside-the-Pant holster, it would be the special clip that slides Over the waistband but UNDER the belt, I personally carry my trusty Kahr CW-40 with a nice inexpensive rig by Uncle Mike's. The design is very simple in that the stiff plastic clip goes between the pant and the belt. Belt tension snugs it up and hugs closer to the body. Disclosure: I have NO interest whatsoever in the company - just highly satisfied customer.

  • @rstawarz111 If you are carrying a 1911, Carry it in stage 1 or hot, Keep it cocked, I know alot of people like to leave the hammer down or not in barrtery but if you are put in a dangrous sitiuation or attacked its usally close up and u cant pull back the hammer if your other hand is protecting you from an assalient, always keep one in the chamber.

  • @polishpio0neer1 how many times have you been attacked already and used your firearm?

  • @spartan7777777 Once and only once in detriot after a tigers game on my 26th birthday.

  • Thank you for your time. You are very well spoken.I owned a chain of radio stations and you could find a career in broadcasting....but often one must move alot for reasons having nothing to do with you.

  • i have all the knowledge i need now ...ill teach that shop keeper to give me the wrong change then ill take a trip to a school ................because thats where all the nutters like yourself end up isnt it!!!!

  • Just to correct you with paddle holsters there is an part for your belt where it kinda clips under your belt. This is there because the material that the holsters are made out of is very tight fitting and some of them even have a notch where the gun is clicked into. The belt is normally required to draw the gun, as the gun is in there so tightly that its impossible to pull out without the belt holding it in place. At least that is the case with my Walther P22.

  • Outstanding presentation. I also agree about further reducing the printing of the weapon with multicolored shirts as shellman1973 states below.

  • Ryan ,great vidieos. Perhaps you have mentioned this, wearing a heavy printed shirt(Hawaiian style print) for example, will hide outlines better than a single color shirt. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

  • One thing worth mentioning regarding purses and duffel bags is that they are high value targets for purse snatcher-types, so be aware of that when choosing to carry in a purse or duffel bag.

That said, lots of really great tips in this series, very informative!

  • at first I didnt know if your three part video would be worth watching and it would just be some redneck loser, but you actually know your stuff and I enjoyed watching all three parts! I dont own a gun myself and what brought me to here was by watching a video about a kid at school and how well he could conceal his weapons, I was suprized about how many guns he could have on his person with out having it look to obvious.

    Take care from Canada!

  • Everyday this guy packs, he is saving somebody else who maybe isn't packing. Criminals are more scared of gun packing citizens than ANYTHING else. We know because psychologists interviewed gazillions of them. Guns must scare the crap outta politicians as well because they are always trying to get around the constitution and take them away from you. Imagine Ted Bundy's gut shot ass writhing on the floor of that all girl dorm if some or one of those babes had been packing..

  • nice vidio I liked it well don.....

  • hey man thanks for posting.i skipped watching tv for today and it looks like your videos are better than most tv!keep up the great work!

  • Man I live in Florida wearing 3 shirts is not usually an option

  • Great series. I just turned twenty one and got my CWP. This series was very informative and I really appreciate the valuable tips.

  • Cool!

  • Good vid. You covered a lot of stuff

  • Haha! I love how your dog is like "mmm... mmmmmm!!!".

Great videos man, all of them!

  • YES i saw all three parts!!! heh anyways how long does it usually take for sweat to corrode a gun? i understand that not all guns are the same but it shouldnt take too long correct? anyways i look forward to viewing more of your vids keep em comming!!!

  • Good Vid, Keep up the good work.

  • I appreciate the video, but three shirts? Holy crap Batman !,,

  • IWB tends to be the best method I think. The biggest problem concealing most autos is the size of the grip. If you bend over or move a certain way it tends to stick out. I also have a G19 but usually end up carrying a snub revolver or Ruger LCP. But revolvers are not very comfortable IWB because they aren't flat. I'd like to try the Walther PPS but can't afford it now.

  • Good advice

  • nice review

  • man if you swet corodes guns you need to sort you self out

  • Liberalism forces us to do this $hit. Thanx for your video.

  • @TakeDetour Yep, I can't agree with you more man. I wish this country was like it was over a century ago.

  • very good tips.... they help alot

  • For people who want to get good concealed carry clothing just go to the NRA website. You can not only buy at a good online store but also support an organization that is protecting your right to carry that gun.

  • huh I really like that jacket, where did u buy it? & wieghing your pocket down works great, you dont need to put a freewieght in your pocket a cell phone or keys work fine. But you still are going to want to practice your draw with whatever u are going to wear.& your sweat will rust a gun, now glocks & sigs will not rust as fast as say a kel-tecp11 but it is a good idea if you are going to carry all the time to keep sumthing between the gun and your skin

  • Great job! I learned a lot. Keep up the good work!

  • scariest video i have ever seen on youtube

  • Well done!

  • Great job!! Thanks

Best vid on this subject I've seen yet.

  • Fantastic videos, extremely informative!

  • nice vid dude, im applying for my ccw permit shortly and this was very helpful on how to carry

  • good vids Ryan. I carry a full sized 1911,living in Texas I rock the shorts and t-shirts quite a bit. I have found that if I rotate the pistol forward it helps it not to print, also it's a comfortable draw for me.

  • Thanks good job !!

  • Graet Stuff. Thanks for the presentations.

  • Good stuff! Thanks for the presentations.

  • I just bought a G19 and I'm holster shopping. Thanks for the great vids! You presented lots of info I hadn't considered. I was wondering a couple things: have you ever had any issues with paddle and inside waist band holsters following the weapon as you draw? What are your thoughts on holsters that cover the end of the barrel? Also, what do you think of different holster materials?

  • Thanks

  • that was very informative . . i am looking into getting a permit . . . and have many questions . . . these videos answered many . . very well done . . . thank you

  • Very nice video! Thanks for the tips.

  • Ryan you need some sleep!

  • Ryan you need some sleep!

  • Nice video for newbies. It's important for those who're just beginning to think about CC to know these basics.

One quibble: ryan habitually advances while drawing weapon: this is not likely if an attacker is advancing. Retreat and draw is more likely movement pattern.

  • nice video men im still looking a holster for my glock 30 left handed

  • Excellent!!! A+

  • There HAS to be an easier way than wearing 3 T shirts in the summer!

  • Well, I think you presented your info pretty well. You had a variety of examples, and demonstrated them adequately for this medium. As far as the pissin' match between open vs. ccw, I concede to both strong perspectives. There is no absolute right answer, except that of Mr. Myagi. "the best defense is no be there." If you are going to carry, YOUR judgment is going to be in question from start to finish, so make it your best!

  • Guys ur paranoid!!! a "Bad Guy" wont risk a gun battle if he knows ur carrying a gun if u carry it concealed ur the "weak Target" and once the atack begins ur anyway in a Defensive position and most of the time some kind of weapon is already brought up on u! so do it like Pro´s stay the Hard Target. unless u have a John Mclaine complex a think ur a Hero. a Hero is usualy called a Good Guy who tried to be brave!

  • Great videos!

  • How about getting a smaller gun? You make concealed carry seem difficult with this video.

  • Excellent, well thought out video. Just got my conceal carry permit today and your videos helped me choose the correct holster for my ccw. Thank you.

  • All these videos are really good

  • Good job Ryan.

  • good video man, thanks for the info.. im planning on doing a 1911 with the inner belt holster

  • Now when you carry concealed do you have to carry everygun you decied to have on your person in a holister

  • @huntinguy532 Not necessarily. I carry a Kel-Tec PF-9 with a special clip made by Kel-Tec that attaches to the side of the gun and I carry the gun inside the wasteband just using the clip. It's the same sort of clip you see on a tactical knife. I highly recommend this means of carry, by the way.

  • I dont think you quiet understood my question

  • You asked if you have to carry every gun in a holster. I don't know any other way to answer that question lol. Google it or something then.

  • "Printing" = "Baby Bump!" ;^P

  • "there no such things as a criminal"? if the criminal had good in him he wouldn't have killed innocent people. Using your intelligence to solve situation will help you all? not when the criminal has a gun to head and his finger on the trigger, nothing can solve the situation besides another gun..

  • lmao thats not a criminal thats a psycho alright, its different

and i know plenty of taxi drivers who have solved that problem, its called drive, or if you wana be cool, crash so the airbags fuck him up and you escape

killing is different, thats wrong no matter if theres law or not, youre talking about a psycho killer not a criminal doing something like beating you up for money to eat

  • You are borderline retarded Spike00513z

  • Man why are you here? You obviously don't care much for guns. Go watch a liberal convention or something and leave the passion of firearms to us. We are doing perfectly fine without you. Bye now.

  • Thanks Bro...Good Response. Much Appreciated

  • @GoOfY1537 Absolutely the truth. No amount of idealism and pacifism can save your life or the lives of you loved ones in the wrong situation.

  • @GoOfY1537 true or krav maga

  • The dark circles come from amateur filming. The light source is too low and therefore it looks as if he has.

He's doing an informative video, showing people how to conceal a gun. There are more evident signs of someone being a psycho than that.

And if you believe there are no criminals you can invite all the rapists and real psychos to your home and don't forget to introduce em to your loved ones. There are people you can't talk to and if you happen to meet one you'll be glad to have a gun.

  • Thanks CRICKET1982. Your comment is spot on, and much appreciated by me. Thanks, and Be Safe -Ryan

  • Can a wife beater protect my gun from my sweat?

  • It would certainly be better than nothing.

  • informative , thanks Ryan.

  • Thank you

  • it is legal to open carry in PA? Will police harrass u if they see it? And can u open carry in public places for example: grocery store.....wal mart ......convenaince stores....etc.. i know u cant in federal buildings....

  • In most states you can only open carry on your own property or maybe in your car. In my state of North Carolina, you can open carry at home, in your car (like on the dash or something), or you can open carry anywhere outside city limits. You need to research it or just call the Sheriffs Office and ask about carry laws. Open carry is definitely not recommended in Walmart or grocery store etc. It's called "terrorizing the public" I believe. Very illegal in most states I know of. Except maybe rifle

  • i already left , but thanks for bringing me back to this redneck vid

  • @Spike00513z You should be thanking me, faggot.

  • its 9 o clock bitch go find some shit to do instead of researching guns with barrels small enough for you to fuck

  • @Spike00513z You can tell time. Congratulations.

  • @m1ghtysauc3 I live in NC, i opened carried for 2 years before i got my CCW, i wore it in Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, everywhere i went i open carried, never had a run in with the cops... But i'm sure in some place people are more paranoid

  • That's weird. I have never seen the point in a civilian open carrying like that. I don't want people to know i have a gun. I even make sure I don't wear camo pants and stuff like that that just screams "survivalist" or "he's got a gun." I carry legally, but I don't want the attention. I want to blend in with the public like everyone else. Interesting though UrbanKnight12. You got balls to risk it. It is illegal though. Just Google "open carry laws by state" or something like that. Have a good 1.

  • It's not illegal in NC to Open Carry, the same rules of CCW apply, but it's completely legal to carry a sidearm in the open in city limits of NC. I looked it up and asked the local sheriff in Fayettville.

  • Ok then lol. Still not sure why anyone would want to.

  • Yeah, I live in CA where open carry is legal but CCW's are almost impossible to get. If I could get one, I wouldn't want anyone to know if I was carrying. That can be the difference between life and death.

If badguy doesn't know you're carrying, you have the upper hand. If he thinks you're carrying, maybe he just comes up behind you and blows your head off without warning so that you don't have a chance to defend yourself

  • Very good point. A very bad person like a terrorist or something is going to take out the guy with the gun first. If we are carrying concealed, he doesn't know who that person is, making it more likely to defend yourselves and others.

  • very nice presentation. Thanks for the tips

  • Thanks...Much appreciated

  • yeah man nice vid just the kinda info i needed

  • Thanks. Glad I could help

  • Ryan, you did a nice job on this series of videos. Very informative and I think that for someone who is just getting into the idea of CC, you hit a homerun on the topic. Thanks for sharing with us.

  • Thanks. Your support is very much appreciated

  • Good video, although try not to point firearm at the camera/ at the viewer! Point it at an angel that we can still see what you are doing. Thx for the video!

  • Thanks, but dont worry the bullet cant come through your monitor lol.

  • I think it's more of an aesthetics thing, it is "less threatening" to the viewer, and sweeping it too an angle allows your viewers to se things like arm movement/posture on your draw, which is that much more informative.

  • okla No open carry but during hunting, ccw only with permit

  • i dont think you need to worry about rust with a glock

and in south Florida 3 shirts doesnt work

its too hot even in the winter that we

    dont have

i usually pocket carry my glock27 in loose fit jeans

sometimes use a in the waistband holster

  • Thanks for your time and efforts. Good Video!

  • how bout in the pocket holster? did you illustrate that?

  • Good question. I didnt, and the reason is I dont use one. Typically they would be used for smaller framed guns than the ones I own. Good observation though. Thanks

  • Who gives a shit if someone see's your handgun thru your shit?? Let the criminals attack the defenseless liberals!

  • I'm a liberal and I conceal.

  • I'm a liberal hippy and i conceal. :P

  • You'll get arrested in my state....so I give a shit.

  • What state disallows open carry w/ a permit?

  • Ok, NY, DC, and SC. Sorry to hear your situation. :o(

  • WTF, Mate?

  • Great series of vids. One sort-of-question though - and maybe things are different where you live, but when I got my ccw, I thought it was legal to print as much as you want (not that you want to), as long as no one can actually see the firearm. Again, of course we don't want to print, but is printing a crime, or do we just need to hide the gun? I'll look it up for my state, but I thought it was worth asking about since you mentioned it a few times.

  • Excellent video

  • One idea that I can suggest is wearing a football jersey. I know it's not appropriate clothing for some situations. But the material is lightweight, loose, and it helps conceal the weapon.

  • Damn, concealed guns are not fashion friendly.

  • when carrying the glock in the iwb, how would you carry extra mags?

  • the three shirt system is very effective.

    thank you

  • Thanx Bro... Good stuff :)

  • thanks for takin the time to make these 3 videos i now know what im gonna be getting for a holster

  • Check out Blade-tech in-pant holsters... the best! My only correctional comment to consider would be this: Be careful using an in-pant holster without a belt, because your holster in most cases with follow your pistol without a belt keeping it in place.

  • Consider a nice Gun Belt such as, wilderness instructor belt or a fine leather one from "the Beltman". Great for IWB or OWB. I can't imagine carrying without a good rigid belt.

  • your sweat will corrode your weapon?? ROTFLMFAO u must have meant to say something else....

  • no... he meant what he said. sweat contains water and salt. both will fuck up the coating on your weapon. dont believe me? ask someone. any type of moisture will rust and corrode your weapon. nice try though.

  • nah i doubt it. this dude is just being a girl.

  • You'd be surprised what sweat can do to over many years. It could absolutely corrode a handgun. Why flame a guy who took the time out of his day to try to help people? Nothing better to do?

Anyway, thanks for making these videos Ryan, I found them useful.

  • if ur sweat has corroded ur weapon, it's time for a new one.

i'm not going to bicker with you. have a good day, sir.

  • No he meant what he said. If you knew anything at all about guns, you would know that. And don't say "oh I have guns and I know what I'm talking about" because if that were true, you would never have said what you said. We all know you are a douche.

  • he meant to say something else. since you are not him, you would have no say in this matter. thanks for ur 2 cents though. now go on

  • Since you don't know SHIT about guns, you have no say in this matter. Go watch some 50 Cent videos and leave this to the rest of us tdog.

  • Ok I shouldn't have said that. I'm just in a bad mood. Forget it. I'm sorry.

  • lol it's ok. just an Innocent flame session. happens all the time.

  • i love how we have evolved from swords to handguns.

  • nervous r we

  • cant use them with sweat pants to heavy pants will slowly fall down

  • great series man. can i suggest something for your video. look at the camera when you talk.

  • Hey what was the first holster you had in the beginning of this vid? And how much is it?

  • Don't recall the brand he's was using.. but I use an Uncle Mike's IWB holster in the summer or when I'm going to be wearing lite clothing

  • Hey man great videos! Learned a lot. You say, "um" A LOT! and you repeat yourself a lot. Still, great videos though.

  • Great video man this last session helped me out!

  • go online and check kholster..$35.IWB, (delivered) very comfortable. I own one..I don't work for them. Good advice!

  • Nice video. Very informative.

P.S.- What kind of IWB hoster is that (who is it made by), and is there a website I could find it on? Also will it fit a glock 23?

  • dogman, its made by Galco. and it will fit your glock 23 just fine :)

  • 3 layers of shirt??..dude wat does one do in warm climate....gimme some tips here for office shirts with out a coat..thanks

  • you mean like an office shirt tucked in?

in that case then i think the few options would be an ankle holster or a smart carry holster.

if it isnt tucked in then you could probably get away with an IWB (in waistband) holster.

  • Lint in the pocket can cause problems for reliability, once I had a sig239 mag in the pocket for about 1 week and when I finally took it out the primer of the first round was COVERED by lint... that perhaps could have lead to a malfunction. I have mag holder now.

  • good job man nice vids but you need to be faster with the pulling out of the gun

  • Awesome videos man, keep em coming. How old are you and what is your beautiful Glock chambered in?

  • great presentation!! Learned a lot from this video series. Hope to get my concealed carry permit sooner than later.

  • I Like it, I Love it, Great organitation I learn a lot from this training. I leave in NC and this really help me out.

Thans for your effort and details.

  • Excellent job....nice touch with the links to the other parts.

  • Thanks again for the videos.

    You did an excellent job!

  • One thing im curious about is what kind of ammunition can u carry with your gun ? When I took my concealed course they covered the basic to the minimum (florida). Thanks

  • For self defense the best would be hollow point rounds to prevent from over penetration.

  • Nice videos. You may want to add a segment on carrying in the small of your back and holsters made to fit in your front pants pocket for ultra compact guns.

  • what state are you in

  • Great job Ryan!

  • Very instructional videos

    Good job, man

I learned quite a few things especially 'bout printing!!

  • Your videos were very informative. Thanks for making them, I learned quite a bit.

  • I just finished watching all three videos. They were very informative, thank you for making them.

  • Excellent Videos, thanks for all the time putting them together!

  • Enjoyed this CCW series! Thank you.

    IR

  • Thanks, Im Glad you enjoyed it. Be Safe

  • what happens if the person is armed with eye protection GLASSES/pastic googes./or BALLSTIC PROTECTION IN EYE>

  • I appreciate the comment, but I apologize. I really do not understand what you're trying to ask or say. Stay Safe Brother

  • Can you do a video on how to carry personal alarms with a pin. I have two, and I wrap the string round my trouser loops, and hold the alarm against my waist. I will clip a spary on to the inside. What else can I carry. How do you get a pepper spray out fast enough, are you supposed to carry it in your hand with your hand in your pocket when you get off the bus late a night.

  • I'm sorry for the late reply, but better late than never. Sometimes I do not see comments. I blame it on YT. If you are in an area to be know as unsafe, I would have your hand on the pepper spray either in your pocket, or visible, so attackers can see it. I'm sorry I don't have an alarm, so I prob won't do a vid. I have made an alternative weapons video, so look for that in my videos, on my channel. Thanks for the comment, and stay safe
