Ok. Obviously it was a KPOP festival so they weren't expecting the most talented and skilled people in the world but to be honest, her performance was not that impressive. I think they chose her over the other contestants because she was more attractive in the physical sense. Korea does have a high self-conscience mindset.

@OutIier It wasnt really a kpop festivle..It was Korea day... It mostly centered around the Korean culture and such. The kpop contest was just added to that. Also, she was the best out of everyone. There were a lot of good contestands but she had the crowed going wild! The 2nd and 3rd place winners were also awesome though.

only reason for that was because the production companies and promotors only saw east asia as their sole market. frankly they didn't think k pop would sell in Europe or Americas at all. so no need to waste time, money and effort in non-Asian market.

but things have changed recently, and they now see potentials in Europe and Americas too.
