Nooo! Pitty for the glider but the important think is that pilot is Ok. Man. I had return trips with broken rc models and i was upset for weeks. I can only immagine the filings of the pilot. These gliders are very expensive.
normally you start the engine with enough high reserve and when there are any problems with the engine you can still choose a big field... i dont understand finnish but he had could land in the field 100 meters away :D
hmm.. Don't mean to criticize but that's exactly why you start your engine on downwind to an out landing field. At least you where able to walk away from it. -> Therefore good landing. :-)
