May he rest in peace. 2 days ago, I learned the name Brad Dugan Finnell from a friend of mine who was sponsored by ESP in the late 80's. Matt Jones told us that he had the honor of racing with Brad as a part of the ESP team. I decided to do some research, and found this.
It's hard to understand with so much obvious love surrounding him why a beautiful and talented young man would feel the need for heroin, but I understand very well that we sometimes just don't get to know why. God bless.
I was truly touched by that photo journal of Brad. I usually just look for BMX races that are current that I have either been at or might know someone else, or just because I love BMX. I am 44yrs old, still race and cherish every moment that I have with my children. Thanks for sharing that.
I wasn't aware of Brad's passing until a few minutes ago. How sad, how terribly sad.
I'm so glad to have known him. My deepest condolences to you Dugan and Debbie and all of the Finnell Family.
