are these meant for just low profile tires and runflats, because at my work, they just got a auto24 and they want us to use it on all aluminum rims, and i find its not as easy as a conventional machine when doing higher profile tires... what would you suggest?

While the Auto34 excels at low profile tires, it is suitable for all rims an tires. The built in damage protection especially applies to all aluminum rims. As familiarity with operation builds you will find yourself almost as fast on easy rims with the Auto34 as you were with traditional equipment. Thank you for the question.
