  • wow ! pure expression, without a conditioned mind

  • Asian girl ruined it.

  • @Adoniram1986 totally...

  • Amazing the talent they had when they were still so young. All I did at their age was masturbate... masturbate A LOT.

  • i adore that kids face playing guitar

  • anyone know what the violinist, Rachel Ling, is up to now? Obviously Tony Royster and Juilian Lage are up and at it.

  • Alguém sabe dizer se eles estão disponíveis para adoção? hehehe

  • @geisonmacedo Probably not since they are all in their 20's now. :)

  • shocked at how old this looks and it was just 11 years ago...

  • @dfairbanks06 It was recorded to VHS and then digitized, that's why

  • Oh...and you're right, DJ Vanilla. They're waaaay more talented than most of the musicians in the audience!!!

  • This is the same Michael Green that said "music is NOT the cause of violence" and was proven terribly wrong with the Columbine massacre. It shadows my appreciation for these talented musicians when I see a piece of garbage like him hosting the event.

  • @zsicarius How did Columbine prove music causes violence?

  • The sad part is, all of those kids have more talent than most of the musicians in this room!

  • im freakin 19 and i can't do half the stuff they're doing. Damn they're good. Sting shook his head in disbelief i guess lol.

  • what the heck? they didnt give the bassist a solo? thats disappointing =[

  • The other pianist, with the violinist, is Rohan De Silva, from Sri Lanka. i've met him when he came to Brazil with Perlman, i was his page turner.... what a pianist!

  • girl was awesommmee

  • Eldar is my piano teacher's son that's so cool

  • MARAVILLOSOS.

    Felicidades.

  • finally...the Grammys actually show off some real talent and some real musicians.......im sure the rest of the night turned into a hack of no talent rapping losers.

  • dang, these kids know what music is!

  • the chinese girl is a robot

  • wow this video looks soo old.. this video is 11 years old!

  • İndigo!

  • holy cow man! Her fingers are like spazing out its sooooo amazing how fast they move O.o

  • y does tony royster have a FREAKIN DOUBLE BASS?!?!?! i thought this was jazz

  • O my god

  • haha the mehndelson

  • that poor, pooor, violin... Bravo.

  • little Eldar!!!! <3

  • Grand opening, super !

  • Cuanto talento junto....y pensar que Eldar Djangirov desde niño se le veia la pasta de genio...son grandes todos.....suerte.....exelente video.

  • Wow, Marc Anthony and OMG none other than LOU BEGA approve?!?! These kids must be good!!!

  • @playdrums Check out the newer videos from Eldar. He is well on his way to becoming a jazz legend. He is unreal!

  • what is this show like a fucking circus or something?? Just show off a bear bicycling i'd be more interested.

  • @ukijhu97 So why didn't you look up bear cycling then to each their own.

  • First of all thankyou very much for posting. I really enjoyed it.

I just feel sad that people with negative comments land up saying mean things but why....if you'll cant appreciate something good just dont say it at all....why demean yourself just for the heck of making a point.....isnt it childish in the first place....

  • @hoomab Internet trolls are everywhere >.>

  • These kids are great. And of course we know there are many more who did NOT get on tv. It's a shame that in a few years, when they are not "cute" anymore, most will be cast aside, regardless of how far they advance from here. Adult musicians of this caliber are not celebrated enough. Yes, these kids have talent, but there are SO many adult musicians in these genres that will never get recognized because they aren't kids. I wonder how someone like ladygaga fells when she hears kids like this

  • @petrocef Eldar, actually defied that fate. You can recognize a higher class of talent in his playing than in the standard child prodigy, and it developed so well as he got older.

  • cute asian

  • NIce flow!

  • OMG ! So much talent from these kids!

  • and yo 0:36 Julian Lage speaks, announcer jizzes

  • bitch on the violin just fucking ruined it...

  • wow these kids have a bright future .....im jealous

  • 1:30 is the new Elvis Presley.

  • tony royster is so much more talented than any of the other musicians. notic how hes on drums, the most dynamic instrument, and hes the only one who continues playing whilst talking - a hard skill. For his solos he also makes all the others stop and owns it up. And gets the biggest cheer.

  • fantastic!

  • what is the first song they played after they introduced themselves?

  • What is the name of the excerpt played by the violinist?

  • @MorgothBalrog I'll answer my own question :)

Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor - Movement 3!

  • what is the song???

  • wow i'm lefted stunned by the violinist

  • haha..great

  • hahahahahahahaha man im one of those people who are dying to know the names of the people on this clip, WOW amazing thats all i can say

  • For all those people who are dying to know,

here are the names of the musicians.

    Bass Player-Matt Brewer

    Guitar Player-Julian Lage

    Drum Player-Tony Royster Jr.

    Piano Player-Eldar Djangirov

    Violin Player-Rachel Ling

  • Thanks @junrg, I will post this up on the description. :)

  • @junrg They said there names at the beginning of the video.

  • @junrg Tony Royster Jr. has a custom drumstick with Vic Firt.

  • tony royster jr is a beast

  • GREAT!

  • young , lively and talented , what else could we ask for ?

  • Not to diminish the violinist's MONSTER skills, but she completely and utterly flubbed 1:59-2:02. Literally skipped every single written note (of many that goes there.) It happens though - the remainder of her performance is seriously outstanding in tone and technique at any age, let alone an 11 year old.

  • good

  • asia powerr.

  • what's the piano player kid name?

  • ..that's Eldar Gjangriov

  • The girl was sick.

  • I'm just saying. They just had a lot of practice. Maybe 4 or 5 hours a DAY. I play that much in a WEEK! Kudos to them for being able to play in front of all of those people. Also, they may be very good at playing, but can they write music which is good. Anybody can play but only a handfull of people can write amazing music.

  • @Montops they probably wanted to practise that much.

it's not necceserally how much you do it, it's how much effort you put into it. I could go to a piano and start playing one single tune all day. where will that get me? i'll get the tune. that's it. nothing else. or, i could get the tune, and then move on to something more complicated

  • @Montops You sound very resentful. Serious musicians will put those hours in, so you can't imply that the kids are good just because they had a lot of practice. You offer them kudos for being able to play in front of a large audience, but not for developing their natural talent, dedicating time to it, being able to improvise etc. Also, for all you know they may have written more music than you. A lot of child prodigies do write, and very well. And you say anybody can play. Really?

  • @jazzforthepeople I believe that they put in the hours. Its all work ethic, which i dont have. But if anyone put in those hours, they would be as good as these kids. i belive that they would have written lots of music, cause i would have been writing music if i were as good as them. Just the one question is, do they have a life? And friends? Becasue I wouldn't if i were one of them. I would be holed up in my room playing and writting all day long.

  • @Montops I can only speak for the violinist when I say, yes, she has friends, a top-notch education, a successful career, and a pretty wide range of interests and talents, so watch it when you make assumptions like that.

  • Kay I've been playing piano since I was four (I'm 16), too and I'm nowhere NEAR that kid's skill. They're definitely prodigies. I also have a 10 year old sister (the violinist is 11) and yeah.. If you heard her play and then heard one of them, you'd either agree they're prodigies or think they're pretty darn close! Lol.

  • Its funny how they are called prodigys when they have just been practicing since they were 4 years old. That dosent mean that they are incredabaly talented, it just means they had a LOT of practice.

  • violin's the best!

  • All I can say is GOD DAMN The kids are good. Now I'm going to kick my dog :(

  • Superb!

  • im a prodigy!! but now im old :(

  • Straight no chaser :]

  • why is it that asians play so much violin? omg i love the jazz.

  • @ZekBlek

    absolutely correct

  • I wish I had this talent anytime in my life.:-))

  • I am left stupified by the piano girl.

  • Eldar is not a girl idiot

  • haha

  • holy moly...wow =]

  • That guitarist is a mini John Mayer. Right down to the awkward and painful facial movements when he's jamming.

  • Dude, John Mayer can't even come close to coping with his genius!

  • I love how the rest of the band is grovin and then girl starts playing and she is like a machine,

  • gid a first had to take take a second look to see if it was real. But WOW she is amazing

  • thats because she's asian, they're all built like calculators, precise to the decimal.

i'm kidding of course.... all of those kids are amazing at what they do.

  • @frizzzzzzal and ofcourse she is asian...

  • @Tu51ndBl4d3 lol, yeah, no little American violinists girls.

  • @frizzzzzzal are you kidding me? like a well oiled machine, girl BEASTED it.

  • @frizzzzzzal thats asiains for ya

  • @Mactator100 : asians* js!

  • @frizzzzzzal its just not her style. shes classical and the others are more.... jazz or something...

  • FUCK YOU!!!

  • the guys that run the grammys are douche bags... they should let the kids play more than one chorus of 12 bar blues.... how boring!!!

  • How come the Bass is always ignored?

  • LOU BEGA???? WTF IS HE DOING THERE?

  • HOLY. That girl with violin is pro i tell you...i've been playing for 4 years and I don't think I can do that in 10 years. Or more. And that piano guy is pro too.

  • S'all about chops and playing fast and loud. I doubt these kids will really have an impact on music as we know it. I mean, Hendrix and Beethoven and Coltrane weren't prodigies.

  • ex[lain joe bonamassa

  • You consider Joe Bonamassa in the same ranks as people like Hendrix and John Coltrane and Beethoven? Come on dude, seriously? And while your busy talking about Bonamassa, who is a great blues player at best. BY FAR NOT one of the greatest guitarists alive today. But then again you've probably never heard of Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Monder, Adam Rogers, Gilad Hekselman, Mike Moreno etc...

  • U are right, however, in my opinion half of these kids wil b great musicians.

The acoustic guitar player has soul... ... about the names u mentioned in ur list, well, I just want 2 make two points. There are great musicians around the world who arent famous... 2nd, if you ask any classical pianist 3 make a list wit 3 great composers u wil b surprise how many prodigies wil b on the list.

I think soul is everything bt Ican`t deny the kids r gud and I think you can`t deny that eihter.

  • that guitarist is damn cool kid

  • Lol nice but that guitar player looks like he's cumming in his pants.

  • LMAO

  • LMAO "ShiftyPowers101"

    ahahahha.

  • lol

  • TONY ROYSTER JR. He's still impressing people now

  • the young guitar is now a well-known guitarist named Julian Lage. he just released his debut CD this May at age 21. Check it out.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!! THEY WERE GREAT!

  • now here at some real prodigies, they kick the crap out of that ethan kid who gets on all the talk shows and late night television shows..

  • whoa!

that violinist was only 11years old?!

    gosh.

it's nice to know that there are stil people like this is this world :))

  • that violin was crazyyyyy

  • I don't belive on my eyes !!! ;)

  • That's really really funny how they switch to classical music! Not to mention that gurl is awesome!!!! She was really really good! I also liked everyone else too!!!! =) Great!

  • LOL ELGAR!!!!

  • could be better?

  • eldar is the bomb

  • Holy JESUS!

    My god, thats soo amazing.

  • amazingg

  • these kids make me feel like shit lol

  • LOL

  • LMAO

  • so agreed =]

  • Hahah, SO true

  • I can't feel my jaw anymore from dropping by that violin girl's performance... BRAVO

  • the violin girl plays mendolson in the beginning :]

  • when the 11 year old violinist started playing like that I almost passed out!

  • the violinist almost looked like the clip was sped up! haha i know it wasnt but even her movement seems faster than it should be for a person that age...prodigy

  • wow. they're faces....

    haha.

    makes me laugh. XD

they're good nonetheless, just... they should not be on camera. maybe like in the back in the dark. haha.

  • i HATE the faces they make

  • violinists don't smile cause it's hard to focus. Duh. check sharon corr. she smiles very rarely. that doesn't mean she's a snob.

  • The comment about the violinist being a snob because she wasn't grinning and showboating for the crowd is one of the more ignorant remarks I've seen posted in some time.

Clearly someone with no knowledge of classical music, particularly of violin.

If you want grinnin' "fiddlers," stick with the talent at your local barn dance, or Hee Haw reruns.

  • Plus how could you grin when you keep pushing a big piece of wood on your cheek.:-)

  • muito bom essa turma....

  • the violin girl is a snob

  • Be nice!

  • i'm just saying wat i think i am not being mean!!!!!! duhhhh

  • @morganandgrayson101 wow you can just tell how snob they are by looking at them like this huh? you're really funny motherF

This little girl rocks, I watched this like years ago my uncle had the whole 42nd Grammy by dvd and never forgot about this performance especially this girl :) so very talented, are there any other videos of these girl playing violin?

  • the violin girl is incredible

  • You need to understand how much concentration runs like those take. I doubt she is a snob - her facial expression likely came from concentration.

  • Well everyone else played with a smile on thier face. I guess they could concentrate, play, and look like they were having a good time while doing thier parts but the violinists couldn't.

  • man that violin girl is the best one by far

  • whats the name of the guitar player? i dont understand him well

  • It would be interesting to see you do better.

  • Yes, because they sure look like robots playing huh? Where are you people coming up with these "factual" definitions of a prodigy? It seems like when someone is called a prodigy, there's always someone somewhere ready to disagree and cite someone else who is in their eyes a prodigy.

Yes, and very smart of you to compare a rock singer to these musicians who all play different instruments. My dick has a lot more talent than your whole face combined. See why that doesn't make any sense?

  • Hilarious

  • mendelsohn violin concerto in e minor 3 rd mov

  • what is the violinist playing?

  • Wow, suprised at people arguing over what a prodigy is. Does it really matter? Anyways, I was the Assistant Band Director when Tony (the drummer) was in high school and I can promise you that he was a child prodigy. I think he started at 3 and picked it up very fast. ...oh and Hinesville is not next to Atlanta. It's next to Ft. Stewart and Savannah.

  • UNreal

  • Just believe your eyes. These kids exist.:-)

  • Excellent!!!!, how beautiful chilhood is!, these boys are a gift from god

  • 1:26 - 1:36 ffs :X
