I love this because, this is a common sense approach to weight loss. I'm a HUGE fan of Pepsi, expecially the fountain type drinks (it's so delicious!) so to take two weeks and simply exchange the soda for the H2O is very helpful. I quit smoking on October 1st and my 30th birthday I'll be smoke free for 3 months (the longest period for me in 10 years) Along with your videos of makeup you've been a real help to me in this period of my life. Thank you, they are a real moral booster! Excited for 30!

@Lilliaannn it depends. some people are faster. others are a bit slower. the best thing you can do is follow what marlena says. also when u excersize try to change it up. like two days walking then two days biking and etc...if u just do one thing the body get used to it. the body gets tricked into thinking its working hard and it burns more . also dont think..i gotta lose 30 lbs in one month. just do it slowly. it may be tough but its worth it. just dont put a time limit

I'm 15 and in Feb of this year I got on a scale and it said 162 and I'm not short so I didn't look bad but I had a bit of a gut and I didn't like that so since then I've been running every afternoon, only drinking water, eatting healthy and sweets to me even tastes disgusting now. BUT I only lost 5 pounds. Anyone know why?

I'm 22, I used to be about 145lbs, over the past while I've been trying really hard and I'm down to 117lbs but my target is 109lbs. For some reason now that I've got this far I am having a major problem with snacking/binge-eating really late at night, mostly carbs. This is so bad! I'm glad I saw your video because I'm going to go buy a ton of snap peas and keep them in my fridge. I am jeopardising all my own progress with this problem and I'm both horribly guilty and annoyed with myself.

I top my oatmeal with unsweetened applesauce (which still has a sweetness to it from the apples) and cools down the hot oatmeal.
The other breakfast I eat all the time is 2 whole grain eggo waffles with natural almond butter (no salt, no sugar...just raw almonds is all that the ingredients list) top with a lil bit of honey (for the sweetness) or agave (sweet nectar that's low on the GI scale so it won't spike blood sugar)....
I'm Italian, 16 and somewhat overweight.Plus obesity runs in my family so I have it in my genes. this video is very inspiring and I totally know what you mean about being Italian and cutting starch out of your life. @floralface you should exersize for about 30 mins a day, go for a walk, pick up a sport, or do sth fun outdoors. you dont have to kill urself exersizing, just start doing sth small, like a 30 mins walk, some push ups, abs, and over time your body will get used and it will be able to do more, without getting tired. also, i know that exersizing can get boring so you can do it with a friend or play ur favorite music. remember to drink alot of water. hope this was helpful. ^_^
you did a dam good job girl...I've been doing this for 10 months and only lost 36 pounds. I do what you have done mostly and you're right it's a life style change. This isn't easy and it's taken me a while to stick to it but it's people like you that keep me motivated, thank you and good luck =)

I never listen to doctors, they're useless in my oppinion. Plan for me: Do all the steps +others (right from the start) keep doing these. Never give up! Done.

@sabinakim10 You're on the lower range of what's healthy; 109-139 is healthy for your height. But you're 12. You shouldn't be worrying about weight, especially since you're so small o___o

I'm 22, I used to be about 145lbs, over the past while I've been trying really hard and I'm down to 117lbs but my target is 109lbs. For some reason now that I've got this far I am having a major problem with snacking/binge-eating really late at night, mostly carbs. This is so bad! I'm glad I saw your video because I'm going to go buy a ton of snap peas and keep them in my fridge. I am jeopardising all my own progress with this problem and I'm both horribly guilty and annoyed with myself.

hey marlena, i am not sure if you knew, but crystal light fitness makes a powder that contains stevia instead of the nutra sweet or aspartame....which is bad for you. go for the crystal light fitness! ;)

I top my oatmeal with unsweetened applesauce (which still has a sweetness to it from the apples) and cools down the hot oatmeal.
The other breakfast I eat all the time is 2 whole grain eggo waffles with natural almond butter (no salt, no sugar...just raw almonds is all that the ingredients list) top with a lil bit of honey (for the sweetness) or agave (sweet nectar that's low on the GI scale so it won't spike blood sugar)....

I'm Italian, 16 and somewhat overweight.Plus obesity runs in my family so I have it in my genes. this video is very inspiring and I totally know what you mean about being Italian and cutting starch out of your life. @floralface you should exersize for about 30 mins a day, go for a walk, pick up a sport, or do sth fun outdoors. you dont have to kill urself exersizing, just start doing sth small, like a 30 mins walk, some push ups, abs, and over time your body will get used and it will be able to do more, without getting tired. also, i know that exersizing can get boring so you can do it with a friend or play ur favorite music. remember to drink alot of water. hope this was helpful. ^_^

you did a dam good job girl...I've been doing this for 10 months and only lost 36 pounds. I do what you have done mostly and you're right it's a life style change. This isn't easy and it's taken me a while to stick to it but it's people like you that keep me motivated, thank you and good luck =)
