I love Glee, it's one of my favourite shows, and I love the Beatles more than all but I hate this cover because I think there is no soul in there. They did fantastic job on other songs but this one is no very good.

@xxKays You've got a point. Everyone has a personal preference. I came to listen to this version cause I hear all the hate on the original version and I'm like "How did Glee they ruin it?". Of course I like the Beatles version better, but you know what I wouldn't really hate on this version. Other tan the fact I dislike Glee, at least the people who make Glee have a good taste in music, and covered this instead of god forbid *shrug* Super bass or some other B-side bublegum pop single.

Well, since the songs are chosen around the episode (so says Ryan Murphy), if they were going to do Hey Jude they would have do it Across The Universe- style and introduce a character named Jude who goes out with a girl then loses her (see: Jesse's Girl- that's probably the only reason they named him Jesse)

If you look up the channel "GleeOnFox" then you can find interviews with the original 6 Glee members and it's them talking about their auditions in August 2008 :) Lea sang the same song as in the pilot from Les Mis, Cory sings "I can't fight this feeling", Kevin "Let it be," Amber "RESPECT", Chris "Mr. Cellophane" and I forget the other
