The aircraft are Mirage F1AZ's flown by pilots of the South African Air Force during the so-called Bush War (1975 - 1989) in what is now Northern Namibia and Angola.

In the first scene with the Mirage flying over the soldiers and dog, one can see that the soldiers are dressed in what was then the standard brown (or nutria) (bush) uniform. The area flown over is typical to that found in Northern Namibia.

At 1:48 the SAAF Golden Eagle is also visible on the pilot's face mask.
