This song is too big for a little girl, but I think for a little girl she did good. No doubt she should have picked a song that showcased her voice the best. She has said that the reason she sings this song is because it has always been her Grandmother's favorite. :) She did a completely fantastic job with this song later for her "Enchantment" album when she was older, more experienced and had a much more mature voice.

I don't get what the big deal is with Charlotte Church. I know tons of kids who are much better than she was at this age.

They've sent a girl to do a woman's job here. She has a fine voice but it's thin and skews a bit here and there. And what can she know of the emotional depth of these words?. But what can you expect from a 13(?) year old? I do not see any point her people putting her into this kind of position. It's like gettting a good 13 year old footballer and putting him into a premiership first team. There are a million songs she can sing prettily, and then wait for 10-12 years or more to do this one.

Charlotte was only 11 in this video she reminded me of the child star of the 70s Lena Zavaroni only in the sense she had the fame so young but how different she is to the Late Lena Zavaroni. Charlotte has the right attitude to things but it made Lena ill.

@pabloJS She was actually just 11 or 12. Look at the other videos and documentaries of her second album. She recorded it when she was 13. I read it in the sleeve of her CD. It is also in documentaries of her. She was 12 in her first concert Voice of an Angel.
