Link can do a lot of nice stuff with DACIT though, which is arguably cooler than Glide Toss.

I'm not exactly a fan of the changes made to Link. I love how they note him as a "character with a fundamental flaw", but they do absolutely nothing to improve it (his recovery).

I'm not sure if I like the change in his arrows. His arrow-cancels (with exception of the double arrow) could be a lot more consistent and arrows as an edgeguard seem a lot more viable, but 'projectile spikes' seem dubious.

And also, DACIT looks a helluva lot cooler than Glide Toss, except Glide Toss is BY FAR more useful.

They made Spin attack an actual attack, they killed jablock entirely (and arrow lock to hit I assume), and a few other minor tweaks.

I would've been happy if they had just made his tether recovery longer, they don't really have to change zair.

The fundamental flaw existed but it was twofold. It was that he didn't hit hard enough to justify his recovery being as bad as it is. I still think link's spin attack recovery needs a boost but I'm glad as hell they realize that link is honestly a heavyweight in a midweight's clothing.

Then we can't just assume that every heavyweight should play like Ganon or Bowser. Apparently, Link a heavyweight with the knockback of Yoshi.

From all the heavyweights in the game, he's pretty much the only one that can weave his attacks into all sorts of things and combo, which almost compensates for his bad knockback, yet his recovery is always completely obtrusive. He's a heavyweight that plays like a mid-weight then.

oh man thats what i was thinking! i have played with nothing but link on ssbb he seems so gimped compared to EVERYONE xD even though i use everything link has to dish out =( zair dash c down up z(Been a while since i played) arrow cancel...idk no matter who i fight it seems he always has some kind of a disadvantage...ESPECIALLY the quick people.

the thing was they don't have the power to do just anything It's not as simple as that there are some mechanics they couldn't change, they tried fixing his recovery in multiple ways, they even tried letting him tether out of it but the games mechanics wouldn't let them.

link can actually, he can DAC to throw his bombs and that makes him slide, its called bombsliding, it requires very high tech skill.

That's not a Glide Toss... That's a DACIT, which is almost useless in comparison to a Glide Toss.

lol you really know much dont you, Im just a link mainer playing at tourneys regularly, I know nothing.

Seriously try master the bombslide and now Im not talking about the easy fthrow bombslide only Im talking about the reversed, and Uthrow bombslide, It works exactly like a glide toss and is refered to as "links glide toss" sometimes by many link mainers. Anyways why Im I wasting time trying to help you anyways, you dont want to take part of my knowledge anyways...
