  • These videos really are tremendous. Thanks!

  • what the government is currently doing to our armed forces is treacherous and action that we will long live to regret ..sooner or later the test will come somewhere in the world and we will be called to defend our honour .The question will be...will we be up to the task? How shameful to see our forces reduced so carelessly.

  • Like he said in the Video, it might have been possible to see a spy there :) The video seems to be rather irrelevant and long though

  • Interesting to see a 25 year old Fern Britton reporting @ 1.03.00

  • We should have just asked the Argies to leave in a very gentle and polite way. Then dropped a nuclear bomb on one of their cities then asked then again more firmly but with the same level of politeness.

  • @truckerfromreno You're my kind of diplomat. What is the point of having nuclear weapons if we don't use them? We will need to use the big stick soon as civilisation is about to be over run, then we will have a whole world over populated, underfed and unable to supply enough water, food and shelter with the whole world going third world rather than first, or even second

  • the biggest mistake the Argentinians made was to humiliate the Brave British Paras after there defense of the Governors house by making them lay down on the ground And take photos, it was unnecessary & unforgivable & left the UK no other option but to kick the invaders out & humiliate them in return, I will say though that the Argentine Air force pilots were brave & professional & deserving of respect.

  • @paulspydar - Royal Marines, not Paras. I agree with the rest.

  • @OlenkaWagner Thanks for the correction , sorry for my mistake, its not often I make an error like that as i am very much into my history. Thanks again,

  • @paulspydar - No problem. You are right that the "photo-session" left the UK no other option. Argentinians say that the whole thing lasted only a few seconds and was not agreed with the supreme commander, but one of the photographers managed to take photos, which were published and we all know the rest...

  • @OlenkaWagner you seem to be very informed are you a spy? btw I hate spies.

  • @olistaeuble - If I were a spy I wouldn't write my comments on YT. And I would be more interested in current events than in past events ;) BTW. Your profile says "Switzerland". Spies from different sides liked coming to Switzerland...

  • malvinas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Eddieposted no matter who are also islands because deshabitadaslas still belonged to Spain

you only saw estabn desahabiatadas but within the jurisdiction under the treaty Spanish

  • @Eddieposted En

  • Coz theyre british

  • Falklands are better off with the Brits.

  • Thanks for uploading all these Falklands conflict videos! I was glued to the TV in America at the time, but had to leave on holiday to Hawaii in early June, so I missed the final battle scenes and liberation.

I was lucky enough to visit the Falklands in January 2007. The woman who answered the phone when she was a little girl when UK forces called Fitzroy to ask if Argie troops were around, served us lunch in the Stanley cafe she now owns.

  • Nice upload. Thank you.

  • loved the voice of the governer "i'm not surrendering to the bloody argies i'm not".

    Very British!!

  • you don't really know english do you. It's quite strange what the argentinians did, no real reason to invade.

  • @wingnut208 - I have noticed pabloandrescom's comments are quite similar. I think he uses an automatic translator - this construction "English of ****" is copied from an Spanish grammar construction "..... de m*****" ;) He also never goes into any serious discussions :(
