I agree. I believe that putting blame on the advertising industry for the world's looming environmental crisis is a cheap shot. The time we spend on this earth is a learning process. Those who built the industry were ignorant of its flaws and possible harm to the environment. But they are hardly at fault. With newfound knowledge, millennials can step up and begin to use advertising in a more reputable way, while teaching those around us how to ensure a future for our children.
