  • the silentmovies by laurel and hardy was the best!!

the Voice destroy many of the old funny quality :(

  • @2reeler It certainly is brilliant with the organ! I'm a huge dam of Theatre/Cinema organs and I have to say, weather it was a Wurlitzer or a Compton or whatever, that organ sure did put life into the movie!

  • I love this short! The ORIGINAL ORGAN is awesome with it! That's the way it was in 1929! Hal Roach's Idea about Jeans gown coming off in the taxi door was lifted and used in Cary Grant's first movie in 1932. "This is the Night" has gotten all kinds of acclaim but no one has yet put two and two together about this Laurel and Hardy gag getting shamelessly reused! Thelma Todd steps out of the car and loses her dress in this other picture! :-) Biff

Thanks for a beautiful print! *****

  • Must be his long lost twin brother then.

  • @PooFlingingButtmunch - no William Powell was already at Leading Man status by then.
