  • anyone else see this fucked finger over here...

  • man i would have loved to see that

  • hahahahah  problem?

  • LOL kinda douchey but hey, if the rules dont say ya can't then theres nothing wrong with it. fucken funny though

  • Royals!!

  • Pitcher can't be on the mound

  • @bumbyk2000 hes not in the rubber. idiot.

  • @MrElitePerfect THE MOUND ISN'T THE RUBBER IDIOT

  • @bumbyk2000 The thing the pitcher steps in is the rubber. the mound is the land that goes up.

  • @MrElitePerfect Yeah and you can't do the hidden ball trick if you're on the mound (the land that goes up).

  • @bumbyk2000 yes you can you're not allowed to do the hidden ball trick if the pitcher is on the rubber - being on or off the mound is irrelevant

  • @yanksboy333 NCAA 9-3f requires a balk if the pitcher steps onto the dirt of the pitching mound without the ball.

My mistake i'm a pitcher in college i was told this rule but it is different in the pro's. It's rubber in pro's mound in college

  • @bumbyk2000 Maybe he wasnt even on the "mound". He could of just been in front while communicating with the catcher or behind it doing something.

  • @bumbyk2000 btw. if you look at the video.. its not modern. They mighta changeed the rule

  • @bumbyk2000 What yanksboy said.

  • That's why you always stay on the base until the pitcher is on the rubber, otherwise it is a balk.

  • well "they" are wrong

  • I've done this and they said it was illegal

  • @2DMAXvids as long as the pitcher isn't on the rubber, it's legal.

  • @Christianrocker1990 I'm the pitcher and I knew not to step on the rubber and it worked 2 times but on the third they said it was illegal. That was 3 different game btw

  • @sciontcdude that won't happen. the pitcher can't do a set(go up to and touch the rubber) with out the ball in hand. that is called a balk. and the runner gets a free bag. so he would go from 2nd. to 3rd. :D

  • @cg257 lesson #2. even if you lead off. before the pitcher hits the rubber. if you see someone running towards you. go back to the bag. even if you don't think he has the ball. better safe, then out.! :D

  • this shit makes me laugh

  • he isnt out you have to tag him with the ball in the glove

  • @bostonredsoxnews your fucking retarded, u dont have to tag him when the ball is in the glove, he was out

  • @bostonredsoxnews wtf r u talking about, u have to tag the runner with the ball in hand or glove doesnt matter.

  • @bostonredsoxnews Ever see someone called out for contact with the baseball. Most likely in a funny hop while baserunning. Ball touches runner = out, whether it's in the glove or in the baseman's hand.

  • Classless play.

  • @tanbrolo all within the rules, a classic play. the oldest trick in the book.

  • 3 people got tricked in th 70s

  • the ole hidden ball trick......gotta watch out for that one!

  • Well, actually they can't be on the mound at all

  • yes this is funny but only pussies do the hidden ball trick

  • haha baseball. what a joke. this game is for pussies

  • @xlBreeZzy apparently you dont understand how to play, then

  • @MillionDollarYankee baseball is for pussies. nuff said

  • @xlBreeZzy what a fuckin troll. nuff said.

  • hahahaha

  • I pulled this off in college. But I hid the ball between my index finger and glove. so when you walk back to first base it looks like your glove is empty.

  • happy on cheating? LOSER!

  • @joshangel01 not cheating. called smarts

  • is that actually allowed?

  • should be ejected... that's bull shit

  • @zerok98 He should be ejected for outsmarting the baserunner?

  • @ingosnow25 yeah, that's an illegal move and it's a balk on the pitcher's part.

  • @zerok98 please tell me your definition of a balk

  • @volzcrazy It is any motion by the pitcher that can be construed as trying to trick the runner. Intent is irrelevant. It is called a balk whether or not the pitcher meant to do it. There are well over a dozen different things a pitcher can do that will result in a balk. This is considered a balk, I studied this at the umpire's clinic.

  • @zerok98 You're wrong. Didn't they teach you that the pitcher needs to touch the rubber before a balk can be called?

  • @zerok98 We don't know if this is a balk, if the pitcher is anywhere on the mound it is, but if he's on grass it's legal because the pitcher is considered a fielder and has no intent to throw the ball.

  • @zerok98 It's not illegal, and it's not a balk unless the pitcher comes into contact with the rubber without having possession of the ball.

  • @ingosnow25 It's actually anywhere on the mound, just not the rubber

  • @dasdrifter12 yeah thats what i heard. I was about to say that but i wasnt sure.

  • @zerok98 its not bull shit its genious

  • lol

  • @Goomba8324 no a balk is wen a pitch is in the set position and makes a movement towards home plate and stops in the middle of that action

  • Yea my team to

  • my team use o do this that is until they actually stayed n the base when we played them

  • I see nothing as well because the video is so dark.

  • haha i gatta try this

  • if the pitcher touches the rubber any type of way after the out and or when the second baseman had the ball ....its a balk

  • Why is there an asian in the minors? They belong in the bigs

  • i think the umpire gave it away a little too bit just staring at him lol

  • The pitcher is allowed on the mound without the ball but anyways a fake play happens with the pitchers dust bag as the ball and the second baseman has the ball there for the pitcher throws the bag to first faking it first baseman misses it runner goes to second. Second has ball. Runner out. I have done it

  • @wabbagabbala ummm you have to have the ball when on the mound

  • i call that jewish baseball. really cheap

  • lol look at the prehistoric burger king sign at the end

  • Thats bush league

  • well if ur balls aren't hidden, isn't tht counted as streaking in some sense?

  • @MPpats29

8.05 If there is a runner, or runners, it is a balk when-

    (i) The pitcher, without having the ball, stands on or astride the pitcher's plate or while off the plate, he feints a pitch;

Technically it is a balk to step on the rubber without the ball, thats why you should wait until he steps on the rubber before you lead off.

  • I play softbal and we have a great rick play we actully used and work it was great

  • @caligator9 cool story

  • @MPpats29

You don't get it.... You should never step off of the base until the pitcher is on the mound (although you can) because the ball could be ANYWHERE, but once the pitcher steps on the mound, he obviously has it....

  • Haha i gotta try that

  • My friend did the hidden ball trick in fall ball once for the last out of the inning against a bunch of 17 year-old ghetto hispanic kids, I had to bat leadoff the next inning against a kid who threw 80, he drilled me in the back with a fastball and i htought my lung collapsed

  • he had a lead on the bag before the nxt batter was up. rookie

  • See ya later buddy.

  • they must suck at real baseball

  • Lesson #1 for base runners: Don't step off the bag until the pitcher is on the rubber.

  • @cg257 actually, the pitcher is not allowed to be on the dirt of the mound at all without the possession of the baseball. so if the pitcher is on the mound, the runner can be off the bag.

  • @cg257 really. That was like the first thing they taught me in little league baseball haha

  • @cg257 ok so what happens if he gets on the rubber then u take ur lead?............................ok then the same thing happens the 2nd basemen runs at the runner and the pitcher simply steps off while hes running to tag him out

  • @sciontcdude idk the pitcher can't make like he has the ball while on the rubber because then the pitcher will be doing a bock???

  • what about the first base coach?

  • @redsoxfreakallover Runners on 2nd or 3rd are generally the third base coach's responsibility.

  • @redsoxfreakallover apparently he is blind ha

  • @redsoxfreakallover

He didn't see it so he didn't warn the runner.

  • tht is funny

  • that kid sold that play perfectly. GREAT job!
