  • i love ur videos and ur SR-20. You are the best pilot ive ever seen on youtube. keep up the vids!

  • @javio45 Thanks for the nice comment, but I am still doing a lot of learning as a pilot. I will keep making videos, but probably not posting a new one for a few weeks. Thanks for writing.

  • how can a cirrus go from about boston to california??

  • @pilotman322 Not sure what you mean about Boston to California. Sorry if I'm not getting something obvious.

  • @pilotman322

He was flying from KOWD to KSFM (Sanford Regional Airport

Sanford, Maine, USA) not KSMF (Sacramento International Airport

Sacramento, California, USA)... You just got the F and M mixed up.

  • Great video, the visibility looks great from inside a Cirrus!

  • @pdutube The visibility really is great. And the wings seem to reflect a lot of light into the cabin.

  • Where are the controllers at Stanford or at any small airport located, as they usually dont have control towers?

  • @namfl Well there aren't any controllers at untowered fields like Sanford. The woman's voice you here on this video is manning the UNICOM frequency. So you can get airport information from her but no flying control. They are usually just in an office in the FBO building. Did that answer your question?

  • @rdfelty Yes it did. Thanks for the answer!

  • What caused the wave action on the video. I nearly got sea-sick. I hope you get the static problem fixed. Other wise great video. Happy Flying.

  • Static problem seems to be gone now that I'm not putting the recorder near the controls for my ANR headset. The wave action is move or less pronounced depending on where the camera is located and how many RPM's the engine is running at. It's an engine wavelength thing, I think! Hard to tweak that but I'll keep looking at it. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

  • Thanks for the explanation. That is one sweet aircraft. I saw one at the local airport yesterday. I would like to have a Corvalis TT. I would be happy with either. Now it is the 182. Happy Flying.

  • I'd be quite happy with a 182. A great plane.

  • Yes the 182 is a nice airplane, but.....I feel the need for speed. LOL I think I am going through my second childhood.

  • did you see any flying disks/ufo when on your flight? If you did were the aliens green?

would /could you shoot one down so we earthlings can study it?

  • Rick;

Great job & congratulations on the solo navigation of "The B." 5500 (east) and 6500 (west) seem to be the magic altitudes to get through Class B airspace. Those numbers usually work in the New York Class B as well. We'll have to do some flying soon!

    Jim

  • Should have tried 6500 on the way back. Did 4500 and had to "go around" by KBED. We need to fly sometime, especially as the weather gets nicer!

  • Your videos are great.

  • Nice video, once again! Appreciate the multiple camera angles.

  • Cool trip Rick. Congrats on your first through the Bravo solo. Jealous of the Pancakes. Hopefully going to try for maybe 2 weeks from now. We'll have to see. Happy Flying....... Andrew

  • Great vid! wat causes that static noise?

  • Not sure. My suspicion is that it was from having the recorder too close to the noise canceling box of my headphones. But it got worse at altitude and was better just after takeoff and just before landing. Not sure, but will try some different things next time.
