@JamesJTraitz what???who's business is that but mine, I am very aware of who i am and actually i apologize for cussing on your videos, lol, very vulgar. I'm fine though, good day. My apologies!!! <3 <3
@IDM011 No problem. BTW my aim is not to tell people who they are or what to think ; rather to reveal that there are sources of wisdom and knowledge beyond the world view matrix generated by society, government , major religions and the 'official' purveyors of thought.
Oh barf, another idiot b.s-ing bigger idiots by using "quantum" language. Anyone who buys this tripe are his deserving victims - thing for yourselves, people!
I've also noticed that when I'm out of my mind, like when I sit here and just concentrate on everything I'm feeling, like the chair I'm on or the thing that's in my hand, or my breathing and try to sense everything, I feel really good. Like my body feels alive and good. I think when your body feels good and energized you're headed in the right direction.
The ego organizes 'around' a group of beliefs, desires and identifications and emerges from the conscious mind. It can change or grow as a result of expanded beliefs but it is impermanent
The true self 'operates' in the present, the 'moment point', and is beyond mind activity. When you are dwelling in the past or future(regrets from the past anxiety about future events) you are operating in the 'small' self or "false personality" . "self-remembering" is done by the true "I" or true Self. When you stop the internal dialogue and let thoughts go by without 'stopping' your mind on those passing thoughts you are in the true spirit or Self!
Interesting, it teaches a common message, to stay present. But it seems sometimes that in order to live life you have to want certain things in order to go somewhere in life and that goes along with youre beliefs about them things, and some teachings associates this wanting with the ego and some explain it as a part of the eternal nature of being so Im wondering what is wanting really? And how does it fit with the true spirit
So this must mean that the ego and the true spirit is the same it's just that when the will or the want get's off hand it is called the ego and when its balanced and under control it is called the true spirit, am I being right? Or are they like separate from each otherif it were in that case then perhaps it would explain the origin of the good vs. bad dogma belief
well said! I've not heard of the the will in that way before, it makes sense, rather than just decision making. I also like your last comment on how society continually tells us that we're a failure; you're inspiring James and a good speaker. Thanks for sharing.
woots first comment! =) thanks for all your hard work James, I'm trying to really wrap my head around what your saying so soon I'll beable to challenge your thoughts with my own!

i have a question. Do you have a really big ego but a really small penis???

So what is the ego if the will is the true spirit?

The ego organizes 'around' a group of beliefs, desires and identifications and emerges from the conscious mind. It can change or grow as a result of expanded beliefs but it is impermanent

Ok, so how can one know when the true spirit is truly at play?

There is nothing wrong with appropriate wanting. It is when the 'wanting' becomes excessive or compusive and dominates the personality

Close! Will is an actual force that can be accessed and comes to the benefit of a warrior( one who is on the path of the 4th way)

Jesus in the course says that we have two minds. Ego and the one we chare with our father.

Ego is past . God is present. Remembering past is egoes way of reasoning. Gods way of thinking knows not of anything of the past.

I remember something Jesus said in the lost gospel of Thomas.
"When you make the Two
into One,
you will become children of Adam,
and when you say,
'Mountain, move from here!'
it will move."
that says it all.
thank you for the work you do.
