I love this movie, I found out about it because I'm fascinated with this era of NYC and it is another example of a good movie forgotten by time for whatever reason. I know there was a lot of protest against the making of this film in the SB but I can't understand why. I know ppl were angry because of what happened to their neighbourhood but I don't think this film was intended to put anyone down. If anything, it enlightened the public.
