...oh man, that is a rare fight, Tinker Taylor (ie Shannon Taylor) hit the cocaine after that loss. He's still fighting (he's on youtube eg Shannon Taylor Weirdo Speach, spelt speach not speech if you want to check it out)

He was the real underdog from the nowhere town of Wollongong hitting the States, it was big news here at the time.

But Sugar Shane was the patient magician and won. Taylor nearly died in that fight from what I heard!

Wright was a career light middle whereas Mosley was a long reigning LIGHTWEIGHT champ who I think moved up to chase big money fights. He was so much naturally smaller than Winky he was always at a disadvantage in that match up.

As good as Shane looks here, and he does look good, I think he's prone to lose to someone with a good jab (I bet Wright could have beaten a prime Shane). He doesn't jab much here nor box. His rough house tactics and powerful over head right only works on guys that are his size or smaller. Regardless, I'm still rooting for him in the Marg fight. Mosley Buma Ye! BTW- I also think his defense has declined in age b/c he doesn't have those razor sharp reflexes to avoid shots any more.

A fight between the two would have been most competitive at 135.When Floyd was at 130 Shane was at 135 but Shane had more experience.The two didn't meet because Shane skipped 140 all together and campaigned at 147lbs.If that hadn't happened there would have been a chance of them meeting at 140lbs.This is where Floyd fought Gatti (rip).And a Masterful performance it was.Floyd would have won if they met.Shane would not have found him with his body attack.
