duuuuude no waaay! how oculdyou hat emy fav stage! i lov ebeing onthis because ff8 was heavily centered around trains in alot of parts and wheni play as squall in there i ffeel so pulled into a ff8 fanboy mode! i know its form ff6(haaate that one compared to the rest... besides 12 12 sucked alot more than 6.)but still lol
@EmoKakashi You can't dodge for crap in this stage cause of the limited space. Characters like Yuna take huge advantage of it as well. Don't even get an Omega version of this stage which is sad.
@BradRy2 true but i love the train atmosphere itself man, its so cool fighting ina train. bu ti can se ehow yuna and such can abus eit, thankfully i hate dat bish and neva fight her.
@BradRy2 dude ANY character can dominate this stage. you just need to learn how to Block the enemy's bravery attacks and know what attacks you have are ideal to use. watch my Laguna vs Squall video, you'll see how I use the small space of the train to my advantage
@BradRy2 yes but these are HP attacks so if you get hit the opponent's bravery will go down to zero right? then charge and hit him to inflict bravery Break!. plus you can still manage to dodge all these HP attacks even in the train if you know their attack pattern. for example Genesis Rock: if Golbez does this attack then back step first to avoid getting trapped in the whirlwind. once he throws the rocks then dodge either left or right. (it's all about timing dude)
@Leonknight23 You can constantly spam HP attacks in this stage and get away with it. Even if you dodge it you're still at a disadvantage (or advantage depending on who's being the spammer). Its a long way from just timing on this stage. All I have to do as Golbez is push em into a wall with a simple trap and I get free spam. Unless you're facing a good Jecht/Exdeath/Precision Block you're trapped against a human player.
@BradRy2 dude I have already faced human Golbez, Sephiroth, Squall, Terra, Emperor, Jecht, Gabranth and Feral Chaos in this stage. and I beat every one of them using Laguna. in case you didnt notice the train promotes very aggressive gameplay so simply dodging wont give you victory. HP attacks are slower to execute than Bravery attacks, so before Sephiroth can perform Octoslash, he's already eating lead from my machine gun
@Leonknight23 Cause they don't spam. All I have to do is properly tech trap and spam HP attacks in this stage then the opponent is dead. Its very simple in to pull in this stage. You can claim to dodge and block all you want. Doesn't really amount to anything. And honestly I don't know who in there right mind from DissidiaForums (the Site not the channel) would play here as they've said they'll never play in this stage.
This game is quite hard compared to the first one, the ability for the new AI to counter, break defence and spam is amazingly good [especially Lightning in RAV spamming Watera in my face]
Considering how much people fly around in this game a stage of that size doesn't really suit it. Those chairs may also being annoying for getting in your way :/

They should've made it so that you can go on top of the train as well, and throughout the entire train instead of just one cabin...
But since I don't have this game, I don't know if it would've made it better...
