For example, right-click an avatar close to the window edge (to see profile), right-click and release and *poof* you just sent a Friend request (also see VWR-1747).

Holding down the mouse button doesn't directly hit the button, it allows you to move over to the Profile button :)

Holding the right mouse button on the pie menu also is very useful when selecting something at the edge of your window. Sometimes if you single click, the pie comes up, adjusts itself to be completely on screen, and you automatically click whatever button happens to be under your mouse.
