  • actually watching the video a second tame and looking at my boat again it is the exact same boat sorry haha do you have any recommendations on painting like what I should paint it with or if i should paint it at all

  • @macroft60 - You do have to paint it, if not the fiberglass won't last very long as it is very susceptible to UV damage from the sun. As far as what to use, well that really depends. The ideal paint would be marine bottom paint for the bottom and marine topside paint for the top (above the water line) and inside of the boat. That being said, the cost of those paints is really high. I believe any decent oil based paint will do fine unless you are leaving it in the water. Multiple thin coats!

  • @macroft60 - I understand, at that point you should go over to your local paint stores and look for a mistint that is oil based. I am sure if you are a bit patient you can have the paint for your boat for around $10 or so as long as you are not too picky about the color.

  • i have a sears gamefisher fiberglass 12ft boat that im sanding down to but it looks a lot different then that
