seaurykumar.. im getting a hp pavilion dv6-1350em in two months(for my birthday)... i already now al about it, like 500gb, fingerprint sensor procesor, everything except one thing... for what and how do you use that remote control

well there are two remote controls. the portable one has less button than the bigger one but the functions is almost same except in bigger one you can control the TV channels through the internal TV tuner. yeah that's pretty much it. Ohh yeah also both remotes have music functions off course... anything else let me know...

I think is a good HP pavilion... how much money? only bad ram DDR2 and 5400 HDD the rest is very good, no? it sound a lot and hot? i think buy one similar with DDR3 p8700 and 320 GB HDD 7400rpm

I think that the new dell xps 16 windows 7 version is much more powerful than HP Pavilion DV6. Plus Full HD display is very good for games and movies. yeah you should buy dell xps 16. Congrats for that. And merry Christmas :)

In the price range this laptop is pretty good. I wanted an Alienware m17x but over here it is about 4000 to 5000$ and i'm just a college students so spending all that money on just a laptop is kinda stupid and all. Well thanks for your comment :)

it got a good graphics card! i want to buy it also but will it overheat and restart while playing games like aoe3, total war, sim 3??

and how many fps can you get while playing gta4 with 1024*768 resolution. plz tell me as soon as possible because i need to buy a notebook soon.

Dont know about the AOE3,Sims 3,Total war.

But I have 6 games currently installed including GTA IV,Gears Of War1,COD4,etc. and never did it hang,restart or anything. Its Vista Score Is 5.6

never got heated up or anything, it maybe a little costly but it is a quality product.

but the processor sucks. so if you"re in india then you should buy dell xps studio16 cuz thats got everything good. the graphic memory may not be that good but it'll play almost every game.

its actually this laptop or Gateway FX series which one was for 2000US$. And these are the cheapest model in Singapore market with 1GB of dedicated video memory. This one had more features and a better processor than gateway one that's why I bought it.Plus I got cool free gifts like 320GB external hard disk,Headset,Mouse and Cooling Pad and 2 years international Warranty so I think its a pretty good deal. Laptops in US and Europe are cheaper than Here but people just dont understand it. :)

Its available but a lower specs model which is cheaper and this is maxed specs so this model 1225TX is not available in India.
