They went to a mission; as Gokudera made the way, Yamamoto was the one who made the last movement, killing the boss of that family; though it was Yamamoto's first kill, so Gokudera just tried to made him feel a little better after that... can't remember the url, but you should read the fic, it would be easy to understand! :)
i really want to rave on and on about how i loved the plot and yamamotos reaction to it and gokudera pain for 80 and his attempt to calm yamamoto and how gokuderas last line made me melt to goo and how the pictures were just so perfect and conveyed the pain and feelings in the scenes but i think that one word will sum all that up: perfection. thank you so much for this!

Gokudera's first time theres a fic where the author mentions something about it (though it's not official, the reason actually might be the real one), but can't remember the name right now... it's on FFnet and like clue to know whiech one is, the summary says something about Yamamoto wanted to see Gokudera's smile...
By the way, I'm working on another dj (again, I took the idea from a fic), and it's talks about Gokudera's death... it's called Videotape, wait for it! XD
