um note to you: i'd like to see you hold onto that car driving that fast when the car in front of you has a massive leak which was leaking like a sive. bodines car had a major fluid leak which caused him to hit the wall...nascar shoulda black flaged bodine for leaking all that oil...

see nascar what happens when you use to start races at noon...3 hours of rain and they STILL got the entire race in before dark..would never happen today
One of the reasons there were so few cars on the lead lap was due to few cautions. The first one was a green-yellow condition to dry the track, the second one was at lap 25 and was a competition caution, the final one was during green flag pit stops on lap 337 and was caused by Ernie Irvan missing pit road and spinning out.

Ernie's first race in the 28 car, finished fifth but was a lap down. Racing Champions ran a 28 car with Ernie Irvan but only 20,000 are in existence.
