@TheKuriboh30 The updater should update the game to the most recent patch regardless of what expansions you have installed, but you'll only have access to what your account is registered for. That is assuming you're installing via disks, the installations I've done recently have been through the installer Blizzard provides on Battle.net.

@tophersadvice I've played it before, but that was years ago. While it does look overwhelming, there's enough in-game tutorials and abilities are learned slowly enough to figure out what's happening. Try it out if you're not sure, it's free to play up to level 20 now anyway.

@tophersadvice The bottom and right sides are normal, the box on the left is a UI add-on, most of the stuff at the top is normal. The top right corner is the minimap, which can be hidden.

@tophersadvice The frequency of these events vary by server, normally they aren't too common. The most populated battleground normally would be 40v40 or one raid group each.
