  • i just came here for the name.

  • Compare the different ratios, compressor types, gain and feedback settings, attack and release combinations and the benefit parallel compression with the use of the wet/mix knob and you'd have a useful demo. You turn knobs so quickly and aimlessly that you haven't given anyone an opportunity to see what this compressor can do. Even if the audio quality was good, it would tell me very little.

  • it should have been a clean signal in HD with an output mix in HD.... its hard to appreciate its thousand dollars worth.....

  • pretty soft at times even when you can hear a huge ratio

  • wow sounds awesome!

Incredible all the nuances that you can get!

  • It's a fantastic mastering compressor. Long away from NEVE, SSL, Urei and API. This compressor got features that others don't. The Dry/Wet function is perfect for mastering and the transients will not be lost. You got diffrent colorations to realise with germanium, silizium and zener-diods. it's my dream compressor.

  • just makes me wanna make love to distressors..

  • I agree. Not much of a dynamic range to hear to much until you really turned the threshold up. But then it just sounded way too compressed and it would remove frequencies. Such a nice looking compressor though. I will be back to check on the new video. One more thing. Would it be possible if the camera was not too much off to the side? Take care.

  • yeah you are totally right and I plan on doing that. These things really sound friggin awesome on live drums. I'm tracking some drums tomorrow so maybe Its time for a proper video. this was put up hastily.

but yeah you are so right the loop doesnt have enough dynamic range to really show what these can do.,

  • That's one juicy looking piece of gear, but why did you demo it using a drum loop that sounds like it came off an old vintage lp? Doesn't really seem fair somehow. Also, all the vinyl scratches make it hard to differentiate cleanly between the drum hits. Why not make another demo showing this with some hi end drums, so we can really hear how this colors the sound?
