  • Excelent video.

  • 1;48, what's that gun named, i think i've seen aussies walk with those guns

  • @51Commandos it's a STEYR AUG

  • .i didnt know canada had a military!

  • @DesertSmeagle

    me either lol

  • @DesertSmeagle Simple minded :/

  • god danm it. i love canada!!

  • @MasonZstudios the canadian military used the COLT C7A1 wepon but they now use the COLT C7A2. so everyone should be scared of canada more than they are.

  • go canada

  • The longest kill shot wa made made by Robert Furlong at a distance of 2675 yards. Over a mile and a half he was a CANADIAN sniper. I met Furlong at a trainig exerice in saskatchewan. People if your guessing and dont no shut up, be proud of our nation and no thi that canada produce some of the finest marksman in the world. So if you think it was a brit wrong the one who hold secod place i Carlos Hathcock,a marine from the state set in vietanam. Cananda snipers the finest in the world

  • @MegaBigcheif a brit actually beat our record

  • R22R the best

  • 1:46 streyr aug?

  • How many are usually on a sniper team? Is it 2?

  • the sniper is an awesome weapon. all it takes is the mind of a cool and pacient soldier to apply a pound of pressure to the trigger.imagine you are a private and you see your corprals head blown off then your leftennants. you must feel leaderless but probbably most terrifing is that sense of helplessness

  • the 4th thing you be scared about canada the atomic bomb, if Qubec got the atomic bomb the yank' s would shit there pants in a very big way.

  • When the first Barrett .50cal rifles came out back in the early 2000's, I'm pretty sure the Canadian Forces had the better version... Which is why we were the first to get the longest recorded killshots.

Now, I don't think the Canadian Army even uses them anymore. One of the first countries to abandon it for a better rifle, which is why Canada is always going to have the best snipers in the world. We'll always be at least one step ahead.

  • @twizz420 a little to much COD its called the m82 =P

  • @twizz420 we used the cherytac 50. but now we use the 338. lapua, less recoil very similiar range

  • @twizz420 good army is not only bout good snipers, theres much more

  • @MrCandec A good sniper can demoralize a whole regiment for days

  • @MrCandec Snipers are hell in the military for infantry, one will demoralize your company, especially if he's good. 90% of shell shocked USMC fighting in Japan cracked because of the stress of being shot by a sniper.

  • Not very good cammo or stalking but I know it is a recruiting video so spare the hate. I know our snipers are excellent, and am well aware of the world record.

  • the longest shot was from a Canadian and it was through a wall too so Canadian sniper is bad ass

  • Canadian snipers... You have my akward boner.

  • longest sniper shot, british army with accuracy international rifle

  • Why argue on which country is the best based on their snipers? 45 meters isn't much, both shooters were incredibly skilled to make the kill at such distances. Anyway, its not very important as long as we fight on the same side...

  • The suppressor on that AS50 is monterous

  • The kiss of the maple leaf, a sniper bullet.

  • Ok, to clarify something. The longest sniper kill belongs to a British BUT he shoot 3 STEADY targets while the canadian soldier shoot 2 MOVING targets (+ going uphill). His shoot was WAY more difficult then the british guy. I give the canadian the credits.

  • the longest shot was made by a canadian, but the ammo used was american lol

  • lol i luv the maple leaf on the suppressor

  • Canada's Civilian Military Detachment is as big and as secret as North Korea i'm guessing everyone who has ever went into the Hospital for even a skrape is in the system, (pretty much 20 million + people..

  • shouldnt they have gloves on ?

  • why would canada need an army or any other military force for that matter when they have the "wall of america" that would react instantly to an invasion on north american soil?

  • Shame on you people the world record long range sniper shot was a Canadian solider his name was Rob Furlong he is canadian. Some of the best snipers in WW11 were Canadian. We are not British we are Canada and we should fly BIG RED proudly my name for our flag!!!! Our taxes cover a lot of this Royal nonsence and not enough of our own we should take better care of our soliders. Vetrens day is everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless them all, old and new.

  • o look a snifer rifle

  • 0:56 reminds me of MW2 :o

  • oh canada. Justin Bieber and best snipers and sniper rifles in the world+ great place i love snow.

  • where are the hockey sticks

  • The 50 cal ammo you see being loaded *black and red tip) is delinked machinegun ammo, what a load of crap! The night vision for the new world class timberwolf 338 is left over by the dinasour, even the ammo for the 338 is only a 80% quality product. These excellant guys could do even better!!!

Support our troops, give themtop quality equipment!!

  • Good shot but don't like taking orders? be a hit man.

  • FACTS: 80% of sniper's job is gaining information in a particular location; the remaining 20% is actual engagement. Snipers are spend weeks behind enemy lines without firing a single shot.

  • "If i had Canadian Soldiers, American Technology and British Officers. I could rule the world"

    Winston Churchill.

  • 0:59 Snipers suppressor Has a Maple Leaf Exit .3.

  • ok everyone, for your info the LONGEST recorded sniper kill is now from a british soldier, but he shot unmoving target, while the canadien sniper owned moving targets going uphill. Way more skills

  • 0:45 .. there is Praha on the wall .. what is that doing in Canada?:O

  • 0:45 .. there is Praha on the wall .. wtf is that doing in Canada?:O

  • Hi guys, I'm an American and Canadian snipers are pus- .........

  • Wait canada isnt a bunch of moose riding pussies?

  • Canada Snipers: best trained in the entire world, none the less I respect the Brits for breaking our record :)

  • Big Mac woooaaa !!!

  • Invading Canada would be the same mistake as entering a land war in Asia, like Napoleon trying to take Russia but with worse weather, soldiers who've seen what the Finns did to the Russians and the kinds of partizans that would make even the Norwegian saboteurs sit up and take notice. In both those cases the southerners had numbers and technology in both those cases the southerners ultimately lost. in any case we're such close allies the point is moot.

  • wow not real gun sounds, COD much?

  • @shaen55555 I bet their wifes disagree with you :D

  • canada have the strongest army in the world

  • Anyone else notice the silencer around 0:58 has the Canadian leaf symbol on the end?

  • Does it not say something about the Canadian army that we have some of the most outdated weapons in the Western world and we're still awesome?

  • It's my understanding that a Canadian sniper broke the record, his name escapes me right now than a few weeks later Furlong, another Canadian sniper broke that record and recently a royal Marine has broke Furlongs record by about 80 feet. all I can say is great job by all three, and all of the other Allied troops whom have done incredible service. well done boys.

  • Canadian Snipers: Yup, that was all of them. But these are some of the toughest guys on earth.

  • ... Okay... I'll admit it... When I searched for "Canadian Armed Forces"... I didn't see this coming.

  • There's a reason Canada never lost a war, and there it is. Canadian and proud of it! Also a Newfoundlander got the worlds longest range sniper headshot,so again, fuck yeah!

  • love the maple leaf at the end of the suppressor 0:59

  • Looks real appealing yet the Canadian government doesn't want Canadians to own firearms, let alone silencers or any other firearm that could throw some corrupt regime out of government office by force. NICE PROPAGANDA!!!

  • thumbs up if your canadian

  • That pelican case looks well deployed...

  • Nobody can invade Canada and win. It's been proven in history.

  • @DJonX7 it's because we have the aurora lights on ourside.

  • @DJonX7 Well, USA and China, Britain and France could. Italy too.

  • @DJonX7 Lol.. What?

  • Thanks for comin out of ur cave sirhungryhippo

  • Go Canada, Yeah Buddy!

  • 1:47

I wasn't aware that handgun was silenced... :/

  • The name Cpl. Rob Furlong comes to mind when I watch this.

  • woah,,,,we have soldiers?!?!?

  • @SirHungryHippo Were in the hell have you been hibernating the last 15 years?

  • @SirHungryHippo Nice try at flame bait...

  • @SirHungryHippo Trust me when I say this...They're Actors... canucks don't even have an army. But ya gotta love the "spirit" that canadians have :)

  • @agoonamaganda pretty sure the longest recorded sniper kill is from a guy in the canadian army

  • @ahmed1717 ya its on here if you look for it, the range was 1.5 miles

  • @ahmed1717 not anymore it was beaten by a British soldier. Canada is second and third.

  • @ahmed1717 Well actually, his record was just passed onto a British SAS sniper some time ago.

  • @ahmed1717 Wasnt the longest from a brittian dude?

  • @ahmed1717 No it was passed by a Brit by like 47 meters.

  • @ahmed1717 Record has been broken, sadley.

  • @ahmed1717 Robert Furlong:) longest confirmed kill shot. But it has recently been beaten by a British soldier.

  • @fransjeclevers canadian snipers are still better than britishes tho

  • @fransjeclevers Only beaten by like 20 meters. Thing is the British sniper's target was stationary, the Canadian sniper's target was MOVING. I still think the Canadian sniper's shot was more impressive, but never the less the Brits have the farthest.

  • @ahmed1717 British*

  • @ahmed1717 Yeah Rob something, forgot his last name :/

  • @ahmed1717 it actually a birtish guy now and id be more scared of a canadian sniper with a mc mallian tac 50

  • @ahmed1717 it was, and then topped by a brit i think

  • @064645642 The Brit used a bunch of shit like Mechanical things on it and shows him where to shoot and such so it was kinda like a Brit + Technology so Canadian Still wins

  • @ahmed1717 A canadian Sniper actually broke a longest kill distance record, but the most recent one is from a British Soldier.

  • @ahmed1717 *Second farthest shot recorded, a british sniper topped it off

  • @ahmed1717 thats not true it was actually a British soldier the Canadian was the old record

  • @ahmed1717 hell yeah !!!

  • @ahmed1717 a British SAS sniper recently took the latest highest shot.

  • @ahmed1717 nope that was in 2002...got beat by a guy from the UK in 2009. Same war but gad they're both on our side.

  • @ahmed1717 Canada DID have the longest confirmed sniper kill until 2009, when someone from the British military beat their record by 45 m.

  • @ahmed1717 its from rob furlong. he was in the canadian army hes now a olice officer in toronto

  • @ahmed1717 it was broken by a british sniper, but nonetheless both shots we insanne!

  • @ahmed1717 It was, now it belongs to a guy in the UK.

  • @rsgalhero yeah only a little further too, Im still proud to say a canadian like myself held it for a very long time

  • @ahmed1717 britsh but we wil take the glory

  • @ahmed1717 britsh but we wil take the glory

  • @whiteboy7thst24 /watch?v=wbzVpcTrQb4

  • @whiteboy7thst24

Ya I read somewhere, the british have the record now. But that was for a stationary target, while I heard a canadian holds the record for a moving target. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @MadCow582 , This is a link to info on the Canadian snipers....

    watch?v=y2knT8RwxKA

  • @ahmed1717

Until recently yea; i think a brit took it from us in the last year or so. Good job brits.

  • @ahmed1717 it is the Canadian shot a distance of 1.5 miles or 2.4 Kilometers

  • @ahmed1717 Ya it was 1 mile and a half the documentary is Sniper- Inside The Crosshairs. The video is in the youtube vault.

  • @ahmed1717 Did belong to Rob Furlong 1.51 miles, now it belongs to Craig Harrisison a sniper in the British Army at 1.53 miles.

  • @ahmed1717 it is too

  • @ahmed1717 Nope, a British sniper has the longest recorded sniper kill in the world. British FTW!

  • @mrajr005 yes, but is very closely contended by 2 Canadian snipers. Canada FTW!

  • @mrajr005 Haha damn, that was JUST broken in 2009 too! Damn! 45m more! haha. Always loved the .338 lapua. Still, the most amazing still goes to Carlos Hathcock with his 2Km confirmed kill with a M2 Browning Machine Gun.

  • @Phibriglex i agree whitefeather was a badass

  • @mrajr005 ur wrong it's a canadian sniper 1.5 miles..his name is robert furlong!!!!!!!!!

  • @ahmed1717 ya the Americans gave him a medal for it actually

  • @ahmed1717 , the record you're talking about was acquired in Afghanistan about three years ago. I think it's been surpassed since then, but not by much. From over two and a half kilometers away, whatever the different records may be..from month to month...a kill shot is a kill shot.

  • @ahmed1717 No, the longest recorded kill was by CoH Craig Harrison of the British army in November 2009. However, Craig only had one kill. Rob Furlong and Aaron Perry set the record in March 2002 with nearly 20 confirmed kills with similar ranges, however the first kill being 2430m, setting the record at that time.

  • @ahmed1717 sadly not anymore. rob furlongs record was beaten by a british sniper using a .338 lapua round

  • @ahmed1717 a sniper and spoter from PPCLI or princess patricia's canadian light infantry over seas. at aboout ~ 1.5 miles

  • @ahmed1717 Actually it was only a matter of time before the record shots recorded by 3PPCLI snipers M/Cpl Perry (2310m) & Cpl Furlong (2430m) in March 2002 were bested.

The longest confirmed kill is now owned by a Briton of the Household Calvary, CoH Harrison at 2475m who took out two Taliban.

At least the Commonwealth can claim the top 3. :)

In fairness though, anyone who can take down the enemy at 2 km+ is skilled beyond measure (hell I'd say the same for 1 km+ shots).

    Ducimus!

  • @MelioraCogito Absolutely, great shots all.

  • @ahmed1717 That is true!

  • @ahmed1717 wrong, it was a guy in the british army, he was using a L115a3

  • @thatsexyArmyCadet Wrong it's a canadian that used a c14 timberwolf :3

  • @ahmed1717 Yes it was. And still is unless I'm mistaken.

  • @ahmed1717 Yep his name is Rob Ferlong, with the record of a 2430m sniper kill

  • @ahmed1717 not really it was broken in 2009 by a british sniper

  • @ahmed1717 it was until recently, he was beaten by a britain snipe but the difference was all on like 3-4 m

  • @ahmed1717 Sorry it was two years ago by Craig Harrison.

  • @ahmed1717 unfortuanatly the brits took that one beet us by a 300 meters they didn't go see their kill.. but i mean im pretty sure seeing someone blown in half is a kill, we had 2 kilometers for a very long time though

  • @ahmed1717 Macmillan Tac-50 killed a Taliban from quite the far range and he was in the Canadian Army. I actually saw the gun that did it at a museum once

  • @nerfmaster329 rob furlong i believe?

  • @ahmed1717 No, longest is a british soldier.

  • @lelwlqlelwlq Followed closely by a Canadian.

  • @lelwlqlelwlq we still beat the britishes in marksman competition most of the time. from what i remember

  • @lelwlqlelwlq longest killed recorded was by a canadian soldier in afghanistan... JTF2 actually ... get your fact right

  • @ahmed1717 you are right. he was Canadian

  • @ahmed1717 haha no it's a British soldier -_-

  • @ahmed1717 nah its a british guy now

  • @ahmed1717 it is

  • @ahmed1717 Was ! Rob Furlong got a kill at 2430 meters :)

  • @ahmed1717 It used to be now held bt a Brit.

  • @ahmed1717 not anymore.. but to say canadian snipers are in the top 3 in the whole world speaks volume about the training they get

  • @ahmed1717 ya but he was using american ammunition

  • @agoonamaganda what do you mean they dont have an army? who was that in ww1, ww2, korea and now afghanistan?

  • @nolanMF He forgot the Canadians were the first to break German lines, which ultimately lead to victory in WW1. Even Hitler paid tribute to the Cdns at the Vimy Ridge memorial (it's still standing). It was the FSSF (Devil's Brigade US/Can) in WW2 that won Italy for the Allies. On D-Day the Canadians reached their objectives first, then liberated Holland. Oh, and our wins at the joint Air Force's Top Gun competitions with our dated aircraft.

  • @agoonamaganda trust me when I say this...your 'army' is in a moot place right now with its economy and all. But ya gotta love the "macdonalds" that americans have to cheer them up. c ya

  • @agoonamaganda You must be a member of the NDP.

  • @agoonamaganda Boers War, WW1, WW2 Korea, Bosnia, Rwanda (many I forgot and many probably classified) Afghanistan. US may have a large army, overwhelming amount of big equipments. Ok. But there would probably not be any USA as you know it if our grand fathers and grand grand fathers did not sacrifice their life in WW1 and WW2 in places nobody thought they would survive, not even wining... wich they did. ok 68 000 regular soldiers, is not big compared toUs army... maybe. anyway, we're allies...

  • fail

  • @poluiso what is a fail ?

    u fail say fail

  • PPCLI 4 LIFE!!!!

  • with some commentary this could make an amazing commercial..... canadian hands down best soldiers in the world proud to be canadian and can't wait to join the ranks

  • @MasonZstudios and clowns!

  • @BdrLenny And spiders!

  • @MasonZstudios personally i would be a lot more scared of a c15 mcmillan tac 50, it would blow a persons head clean off with 1 shot and is chambered in .50 bmg. and c8's are better than c7's

  • @MasonZstudios Or American Soldiers, M82 50 caliber Sniper, and H&K 416 Rifles.

  • Canadian Army snipers, second to none!

  • way to recycle video canadian army news

  • I wonder if they run weekend sniper courses for the reserves :)
