This just barely sounds like "Greensleeves." If I hadn't known beforehand, I'd have never gotten it.

@CyberSchnook If you can't hear this is Greensleeves, there's something wrong with your ears. The melody is 100% like the original.

Well, yes, I'm hearing impaired. However, I had no problem recognizing "Greensleeves" when we played and sang it last Christmas in church.

Maybe you need six more string like the Pastor has on his 12-string guitar.

Nice version! I'm trying to follow the playing with the Tab mentioned here. The tab shows some full C chords. I watched the video many times and it seems that the song was played in finger-picking style, I cannot hear or see full C chords played. Is there some trick here?

The great thing about this song is the level of versatility in playing it. Once you have the melody down, you're pretty much free to use whatever bass/rhythm parts you want.

So beautiful! I read the tabs and it took me a while to figure out that some strings should not be plucked. Like: 0 1 0 2 3 Only E and e should be plucked (maybe B also). A and E are just guides for what follows, right? 'Cause if i pluck them all, the sound is weird and do not sound like your video. Am I right? Well, I guess the most important thing is that it sounds fine to me! : D Great job!

You are confusing chord diagrams with tabs.  Do a search on Google for "how to read tabs".

How do you do hammer?

take your first finger on the third fret on the A string and play the note (c) and with your second finger hit or 'hammer' the fourth fret without playing the string again it should make a new note (d) when you have nailed that you can move it to whichever fret/string you want sounds better on a pluged in electric than on an acoustic ps to pull off keep your first finger on the fret and pull down with your fourth finger and it should play the c again hope that helped pratice makes perfect gd luk
