Please- Can someone answer my question as to why my license manager shows a blank window with nothing on it every time I try to activate my autodesk products. This happens to Maya, Mudbox as well as Softimage 2012. This also occurs on Maya 2011 in a previous attempt.

@chemchris2 Unfortunately it might be you. It played for me. I am on a Windows 7 computer using Internet Explorer 8.

I'm moving the licenses from one server to a new one with a different host name. I assume I have to change something somewhere on the client pc's that points to the new server -- a registry key or an environment variable perhaps?

i just bought autodesk and whenever i try to update the softwaare, a blank screen appears and i am unable to see any options and even activate my software...

If you're like me and trying to upgrade from 2010, 2011 license manager you need obtain a new license file (instructions on the license help file on CD) and then point your license manager to the new .lic file (don't forget to stop and restart the license manager)

This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm installing Civil 3D 2011 on new computers and the license manager on a new server. I have the guides but it's much easier to understand in this video. Thank you for posting it.
