  • That is cool you see all of those people with leashes and not him lol

  • pfff, It's a pitty you need a shock collar. Can't you train your dog without this kinds of methodes?

  • Great work! Very impressive!

  • I have a rednose pitbull named Laredo he know the basics but doesn't pay attention to his tricks much without a treat is there any other way to train him without treats because he loves them

  • How do you show your dog to walk sideways on the tree I have a question I have a rwdnose pitbull named Laredo he know s the basics but doesn't pay much attention to the trick without a treat

  • how long did it take you to get him that trained .?

  • I love the bounce! Can you make a video on how to teah it?

  • @kmsampare Thats a great idea.

  • how do you get so mutch attention of the dog? respect

  • how do you get so mutch attention of the dog?

  • @hetlarfje

Thanks, we teach our dogs that their full attention is required when we are talking to them. Then when distractions are around they become even more focused! Other dogs are great distractions!

  • WOW help me please I have the most disobedient staff ever!!! What do I do!!!???

  • Do you have a website? I would really like to see your content? Thanks.

  • holy fucking shit thats mind blwing

  • Sir i have a 4 month old male pitbull im just a novice trainer . could you give me some tips on simple commands. Also how long did it take for you to have a dog this obedient?

  • omg i want to train our pitbull like this

  • my dog can do everything he did and i didnt use an e collar or a ball ha!

  • @daconverse great.

  • that is incrdeibleee props homieee

  • I wish my pit/dalmatian could be that obedient. I admire the time you have put into your pit. Very smart and beuatiful dog. Makes me want to spend more time training. How did you master the "stare" when the dogs were walking by? That is a very effective tool for them to learn and I would love to have my dog master that

  • one question, how old is that pit bull? I ask because I'm dog owner and I need to train my 7 month old Lab to ignore other dogs. We started off-leash classes, and boy is it hard for him. I expect it will take 1-2 years of consistent training for him to have complete self control.

  • That was really impressive; and I love pit bulls, especially pit bulls that have good owners and are trained well.

One thing though, why is every single dog pulling on the leash at :52? I assume they're not members of the training school, but still--get it together dog owners!

  • wow great training wish u were in atlanta

  • Hi- I have a 5 and a 1/2 month female Doberman puppy, Kobi. I am just in awe of what i just watched your dog do!!! Kobi sits and stays and goes down, but I do have to repeat myself- which is not good..... I would like to know if you have a book or video out, that I could please purchase. I will follow your direction to a tee! You are just as amazing as Nikita in your training ability :)

  • Its great to see a breed so discriminated against show how a model dog should behave. I wish you was in NYC I have a pitbull who can stand for some more training :D

  • AMAZING that shows u have patience

  • Ok Darrell when and how did you start with your dog

please tell me you and that dog are very good

    Amazing good doggie

  • one of my favourite videos brilliant training. how can i get my dog to have un like this how long did it take you to train her?

  • nice

  • nicely done.

  • this dog is marvoulas

  • wow good pitbull

  • Great dog! It goes to show what a rescue dog is capable of doing.

  • You are an EPIC Furkid papa, and a GREAT trainer!

  • what kind of ball do you use?

  • Tht is sikkk

  • I have a dog that has a similar drive, activity level, and athletic ability of Nikita. I enjoy working obedience commands with him in the same manner as you do. Rapid fire with the ball to encourage drive....I have been wanting to train the "bounce" command, but don't really know where to start. Have any suggestions?

  • i love the way u work with this dog. i've got a malinois/pit/something lean mix that is crazy driven when i use balls in training. when we rescued him, he was also pretty dog aggressive, and the remote collar allowed us the leverage to modify that. now he's so happy go lucky, the remote collar is no longer necessary. i like the way you seem to understand and utilize multiple methods in ur videos, all with great results. it looks like you have a great thing going in Chicago. KEEP IT UP!

  • I have a 6 month old APBT rescue, and I'm training him every morning. Your dog and your training are amazing!! I was blown away! I hope my dog can do that someday. He's already best in class in obedience school, but someday I hope he can do some of the things Nikita does. How long have you been working with her and how old is she?

Great job man. I hope we can break the stigma about pit bulls and teach people that they can be awesome dogs.

  • very smart dog. people say pitbulls are mean and dumb but there not u ponted that out all dogs should be that way awesome good :)

  • amazing dog. great job

  • amazing dog. great job

  • i never seen any pitbull stay still like that when a bunch of other dogs passing by.

  • well done.

  • I love this video.

  • my brother has a pitbull puppy that's dumb. i've been teaching the "stand" for awhile now and he still don't know how to do it. the moment he stand, he sits back down if i don't lure him with a treat. pitbulls are not aggressive dogs, they are just dumb dogs and takes longer to train to do a command.

  • Hey,

I have two pitbulls one 8 months and the other 7 years old. So basically I'm 15 and my mom says unless my twin sister and I train him fast than he is gonna be adopted by someone and my sister and I wanna keep him so we need to train him fast. Can you please tell me how you did sit, speak, lay, no peeing in house and stuff how you did that? Can you give really important good good tips?? Please??

  • thats awsome

  • What did you train the dog with? E-coallr, treats, the ball?

  • Started with Clicker training than traditional leash, ball (reward training), and remote collar training. I rarely take her anywhere with out a ball, and I rarely put her in a potentially dangerous situation without a collar.

  • @darrelhager wow this is awesome though .

  • She looks like a dandy!! Do you know her pedigree? Or is she a rescue? Either way, nice job! Keep up the good work :-)

  • Thanks- She's a rescue.

  • Really!! Awesome man bless your heart I have a pit as well and I love him more than anything!!!!!

  • You r a Dude man. Thumbs up.

  • hahaha everyones is looking at ur dog.... mine is sooo lazy EVEN WITH A BALL!!

    any tips?

  • Very good!!!

  • good job!!! she very well behaved!! keep showing that this breed is great and better behaved then most dogs! big or little plus the fact these dogs love to learn!!!

  • Ok ..Ive found the comple opposite of my dog...

  • amazing...im impressed

  • Great, great job with her. Can I ask which remote collar you are using? I'm looking to get one for my dog as well, obviously this one works well for you!

  • We have our own Sit Means Sit Collars which are pretty good. They are made by Sport Dog. You can purchase one at the online store on the website. (They have a lifetime warrenty which is pretty much unheard of).

  • wow...did'nt flinch once with all the other dogs..

  • AMAZING VIDEO!!! GREAT DOG & TRAINER!

People don't now how a correction is so important. Sometimes a harsh correction is the most affective. Most definitely when the dog's far away from the trainer.

I hate the "modern/humane" methods of dog training. People don't understand that a dog is not humane and his language is different then ours.

  • @DanielaMiller109 You mean dogs are not human. Actually they are mre humane than humans. They don't lie or cheat and they don't try to control our every move and they forgive torgive their human owners who can only "communicate" by hurting them. Dogs learn faster with reward than punishment.

  • It's always easy to recognize "positive" training. Even people without dogs know what a happy dog looks like.

  • why do you need an e collar to teach tricks? She already loves that ball...why not simply use that?

  • The ball is used to get her energy up, and the collar is used to increase focus. I can use the remote collar to highlight when communication is happening which reduces confusion and stress.

  • key to this type of obedience is communication, and they communicate through vibrations given off from the e-collar. Nonetheless, great work. I wish i went with SitMeansSit, but it was a little out of my budget.

  • excellent

  • damn...your pitbull is real obedient?! right now we're also trying to train our Razor Edge to be that obedient too and i also saw your other video's, the guard dog man you mustve spent alot of time with her

  • Also, if you want proof, there is a homeless dude who lives near the Wacker bridge who's pit does this on a daily basis.

Why? Because they walk about 5-6 miles a day looking for money and food and the old homeless dude is the dog's only source of food and leadership.

  • Most people do not need a professional trainer to command this level of respect from their Pit.

It just takes patience, leadership, exercise and serious obedience training.

Next, try this with cats or chickens running around then post again. Thanks!

  • thats crazy, i wish my dog did that.

  • amazing!!!!!! we saw your add to watch this on the street! INCREDIBLE!!

  • thats some bad ass training right there. you are a good trainer no doubt.

  • that's great sir! :) i wish i could train my pitbull like you did,

  • I have a five month old blue nose and I thought mine was special because he got "sit" and "down" within a day. HOW THE FUCK DID YOU POSSIBLY TEACH HER TO BOUNCE OFF THE TREE. OR BE TOTALLY IN TUNE WITH YOU WHILE 100 people and dogs walk by her and smell her???? WoW!! AMAZING!!!

  • Your the man.

  • Comment removed

  • I almost forgot...great job, Darrel! Keep up the good work.

  • awesome dog man, congratulations

  • Shock collars do not hurt the dog.. we tried an underground electric fence for two of my parents dogs.. and it wouldn't work.. we started at the lowest setting and worked our way up to the max.. they'd just shake their heads and run right on through.

  • the shock collar doesnt hurt they dont like that annoying feeling but it doesnt hurt

  • I love how well your pittie is trained. She looks happy and attentive. Definitely love Sit Means Sit training, it's effective and is non-confrontational. I love the attention she gives you, if it hurt I think she would be cowering or fearful, but she's obviously bonded with you loves the training. Awesome video!! :)

  • is this from the repeadeted use of a training collar?

  • its not about equipment, its about training.
