  • On the 3-Day split routine if seems like its just too much time between workouts to hit the sake muscle again. Chest/Shoulders/Tris on Monday, and then NOT hitting them again until the following Monday? They would easily start atrophying during all that rest. I'd like to hear from other guys what they think about this?

  • Best calf workout is barefoot platform jumps... If you really give a shit about calves just fast jump onto a platform many times with no shoes on. I only care about calves because I barefoot run.

  • well thats certainly not true.olympic lifting requires very strong calves.calves are cwhat anchor you to the floor when you ready the 1st pull,and you will stretch on your toes to fully extend your body in the cj and snatch.if you look at pictures of athletes in motion,you will notice how high on their toes they are.some actually FLY off the platform.this is the STOMP.your only as strong as your weakest link;TRAIN YOUR CALVES!
