Then all of a sudden I saw police cars racing to the area and I turned on the car radio and heard about a shooting on the broadwalk. I wasn't surprised at all. i was right on the beach behind the boardwalk where this happened me and my friends only heard 2 shots, and from the 1st shot to the 2nd it was about 10 mins apart, when the first shot blew we packed our stuff and went to coney island, while we went and waited at the bathroom for like 10 mins then second shot happened never heard 5 shots

I saw most of it today. A stabbing occurred shortly after the shooting in the train station. This is the second time I've been to Brighten and something similar to this happens. Its very sad. Those kids don't live in the area, and its unfortunate because they ruin it for others. It gives Blacks a bad name as well.

That is why people are even saying anything at all about race. i was right on the beach behind the boardwalk where this happened me and my friends only heard 2 shots, and from the 1st shot to the 2nd it was about 10 mins apart, when the first shot blew we packed our stuff and went to coney island, while we went and waited at the bathroom for like 10 mins then second shot happened never heard 5 shots

This area has nothing but poor to working poor people living in it for like 60 years now and nothing like this happens. Blacks coming into this side of the beach and this stuff happens. @Africapeach This area is for retirees not blacks or poor people. Its actually a nice area, but since the beach is public, people come from all over. It was most likely gang related. I saw most of it today. A stabbing occurred shortly after the shooting in the train station. This is the second time I've been to Brighten and something similar to this happens. Its very sad. Those kids don't live in the area, and its unfortunate because they ruin it for others. It gives Blacks a bad name as well.
