  • hey dude great vid! i watch a lot of your vids on here for balisong tutorials. one thing i found that helps me A LOT with these vids is doing it in slo-mo. when you slow it down you can see actual finger placement in detail, while the trick is being performed. if its possible for you to do this in later videos would be greatly appreciated and very helpful. thanks !

  • over 300,000 views, not a comforting thought that all those people are into or carry knives lol. Awesome lesson

  • learned it in 5 minutes. thanks to an awesome teacher!! :D

  • People who say impossible trick or oh i tried this and my finger is on the floor. or something are dumb people that never touches a balisong

  • Basically I love your vids.

Basically you're a good teacher, they're basically well explained but... :)

Now I've had it for a few days, I'm trying to restore it and learning moves as I go, and I wouldn't be able to without you

  • i like your work im planning to learn one at a time until i have a set ot tricks

  • i think this one is called the flying squirrel.. lol jk

  • I just wanted to point out that doing the closing version (reversed that is) with an already closed blade lands you in an ice pick position.

  • I just cut my mouse

  • Mentelgen.

  • ahh i tried this trick and my knife flew off my hand, hit a wall and sticked there D:

  • right behind you...

  • I think it's fake.

  • feaakyyyy :P

  • faggot

  • *ahem*Gentlemen

  • @czech706 Mentlegen

  • my mom almost had a hart attack watching me do this.

  • Just lay your weapons down and walk away.

  • mentlegen.

  • Taping the knife is like cheating, it removes the "thing" in flipping. That risky feeling of cutting yourself. Im no masochist or smtn, but rly, getting cut is one of the best ways to learn.

  • @DJPetomatick

Not when it's your very first time.

  • @xDrickk Still is, i've never had tape, even when i started. And to be honest when i started i didnt even know any specific moves. I always did something inbetween basic aerials and hyper aerials, where it somehow always landed on my fingertips, which of course made mom and dads bed totaly bloody, but who cares. Said it was my nose lawl.

  • xcmio64 sorry i dropped it

  • This is called the red spy dressed up like the scout move!

  • @bassie52 uh, no. that's the y2k rollover.

  • @riskiecosplay I looks like it!

  • @riskiecosplay uh, no. the y2k rollover is vertical. in meet the spy he rolls it horizontally. good job being an internet dick though.

  • I can do this so easily but I can't do the full twirl..I guess it's the complexity that's hard for me, not so much the skill.

  • i think it should be called B3F(meaning balisong.3parts.flip

  • i think it shoud be called B3F(meaning balisong.3 parts.flip)

  • awesome trick and easy to learn thanks!!

  • took me like 20 minutes to learn not that difficult.

  • the butterfly knife or originally called BALISONG (ba-li-song) came from the Tagalog word BALI meaning broken and song from the syllable of SUNGAY meaning horn because during the old days, the handle of the balisong is made from carabao/water buffalo horn. The balisong is originated at the province of Batangas in the Philippines.

  • This move is quite easy to do for gentlemen

  • note for the beginners put duct tape on the sharp side of your blade that way unlike porrsmurfen you wont get cut and loose blood

  • I got to get me a gun...

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT KNIFE?

  • @andinblack either butterfly knife or a balisong

  • @andinblack Benchmade 42.

  • @andinblack Either Butterfly knife or Balisong knife highly illegal in many states but if your in a state where it's illegal it's only legal if kept in your house and/or on your property

  • Whatever you do, just don't do what the scout does.

  • i actually learned this move just by watching this vid in a matter of minutes because i learned the twirl and full twirl first which helped a lot

  • u rok best step by step eva

  • Thank you sir!!

  • this very much reminds me of spy's windmill trick while he's disguised in scout o_O

  • learned it befor the video was over ;)

  • doesnt work for my cheapo balisong, one because im a lefty and two cuz the safety handle is on the other side of the knife

  • Believe it or not, I was playing around and learnd that trick by myself.

  • Mine doesn't look fluent in any way but I do have the trick down.

  • i know what its called. the notsobasic backhand twirl.

  • hm the turning of the nife is very hard to me(

  • basic? i just learned how to open it with one hand. now that is basic.

  • Basic my ass -_-

  • how do I do this if I have no arms, but own a balisong?

  • It only took me 20 mins to learn this and I didn't cut myself! It was my first time using a balisong too!

  • @snakeconsert You a spy :D!.

  • @TheComenterMan Haha yeah!

  • @porrsmurfen and thats only a basic move! what happens with the master moves? o.O

  • cane you do the complete move in slow-mo please I because what I do is I try the move and compare it with the move in the video and also can you do the entire move in the last part PLEASE THIS WOULD REALLY HELP THUMBS UP SO HE CAN SEE!

  • next videos plz do the tricks slower.

  • Очень хорошее видео!

    Спасибо!

  • im tired of these Red Spy jokes..

  • @M4J0RPWN Say that again and I`ll backstab you!

  • @M4J0RPWN Gentlemen...

  • @guitarplayer213 trollfaic

  • For those of you who are learning, like me, this is hard to do slow. But CL is right, the only problem you will have is moving your fingers out of the way. But during the closing, the entire fluid motion feels nice.

  • press 9 for whole thing

  • Twirls are confusing... ROllovers are difficult... Arials are scary... Flips are easy... Fanning is tiring... Balisongs are cool... knives are Awesome... Blades are exhilarating and turorials are important... :)

  • o my god my thumb is on the floor it hurts sooooo bad god help me ugh jkjk got it down first try tnx

  • BASIC backhand twirl??? BASIC ?? WHAT?!?!

  • @deviruchi13 definately basic. Sorry, that only odd part is opening it inverted. I just picked up my first balisong, and had no trouble with this.

  • @deviruchi13 i do that and i only have my balisong for 2 days. i know like 7 tricks about now

  • @deviruchi13 Yeah the move is actually VERY simple.

  • @deviruchi13 if ur trying to say that it is not eay than ur crazy at first i thought that it would twirl around my hand and i acually tried that and this is way easier

  • @deviruchi13 it is basic compared to some other stuff you can do to open it

  • @deviruchi13 Oh the title is wrong.

It's supposed to be "basically impossible backhand twril"

  • @Theonegamefreak nothing is impossible ;)

  • @kashfique You know, I don't know why I said that. This move is actually very easy.

  • @Theonegamefreak if i can do it in 2 minutes with my lego balisong...

  • @Davmm96 I said it as a joke.

  • @Theonegamefreak Dude, this is easy.

  • @deviruchi13 Just learned it.. not that hard..

  • @deviruchi13

The advanced one moves through between 4 and 7 dimensions, it single handedly proves string theory.

  • @deviruchi13 "ZOMG THIS IS NOT BASIC THIS IS FUCKING HARD! MY GOD I WANT TO STAY ON THE BASIC HORIZONTAL!" Dude, this is pretty basic. not hard at all. please try to do it.

  • @deviruchi13 i know right

  • Thank god I didn't lose more blood then I did! XD

  • Awesome trick, I think I can't get it right because I have tape on my blade and it have a tight fit so its not flying out as freely ... that or the vodka idk

  • it's kinda like a spin off of the basic vertical

  • 1 watch & 5 minutes and done.

  • if this move took you an hour and cost you blood, you were probably holding the wrong handle.

  • thx man!

  • its called y2k

  • @Coolrockerdude lolololololololololol

  • fuuuuckkkk I THINK I JUST CHOPPED MY FINGERRR ARRGG X.X

  • im glad i have a practice knife.. if i didnt i wouldnt have my finger

  • Why. Just why.

Why did 26 people dislike this.

  • @ttothebagjohnson you cold try at weaponds universe thier pretty cheap. you shold try the all metal spear point one its pretty cool

  • if there are any starters and you get cut alot ductape the sharp edge of the blade and you wont get cut at all

  • tanks this is my favorite move.
