WOW! Great hunt and have to love that little Clovis. Very beautiful point! You've got a great spot. Plus enjoy your videos with the music and chill mood. Keep it up!
wow what a awesome video your lucky rock put you on some very nice relics. might want to keep lucky rock in your pocket from now on. congrats on the paleo find they dont come along very often. thanks again and best of luck to you next time out. Billie thetnrelichunter
Amazing what a little bit of rain makes. I bet you don't feel too bad about going 2 days in a row....LOL Super find you've got there, The paleo is sweet. That was one heck of a day.
WOW man you should take that lucky rock up to the store and buy a lottery ticket lol what a KILLER DAY the clovis is so beautiful! and the charmstone so sweet no need to wish you any luck a great two day hunt!
And when I pick up a fooler..It gets a football punt..with opposite feet each time.
That charmstone fragment was nice.
That Paleo is amazing and that little hardstone Lizard-Bird looking thing makes me almost positive that your archaics were doing something ours were too?
If only we knew what that was LOL!
Someday you'll find a Rosseta Tablet that has diagrams!
Make you an offer on the lucky rock, how bout the flint sniffin five dollar dog? Or maybe I could send him to ya and u could train him on Paleo points:) That was a killer day my friend!!! Ive got a new fav. to add to my list....thanx for sharing
Go Lucky Rock! Hah! Loved that pull out, on that not so crude green blade! That was nothing, however, compared to waiting for you to pick up that AWESOME rainbow colored Clovis/Folsom, and top it off with a bonus atlatl spur and butterfly crescents! That has to be one of your best hunts ever! Epic video, Terry! Congrats =)
Oh man! What a day. That paleo piece is so nice man. And that atlatyl spur is so nice. So glad they didn't get torn up in the field after all these years. Man you smoked em'! Mind if I borrow your lucky rock?? :)
Damn!,,You tore it up out there, bro! Nice to find something besides a "Cantaloupe" Lmao! ...Looks like it rained arrowheads out there! Congrats on the killer Paleo! Awesome color and super thin,,, What a day!
Nice finds GBM!! That paleo was SOOOO sweet. I couldn't hear you because of the wind but I did hear paleo, paleo, paleo. Is it a folsom point?? Also, what was that little hardstone looking thing, kind of looked animal shaped to me. Thanks for sharing your great finds with us. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
@Daddydigger1 Thanks!!! Those points are considered to be a late Clovis variant, but I think they also look a little Folsomish!! That hardstone is a atlatl spur or "snakehead" , they were embedded at the end of the atlatl, kind of a backstop for the end of the dartpoints used with the atlatl.
wow what a clovis love that color.... that pieace at 2:34 i have one just like that and been told at some arrowhead shows that they are the core out of bannerstones... that may be what it is not sure good luck hunting
ALL I HAVE IS 2 INCHES OF SNOW!!!! MORE ON THE WAY , 26 DEGREES & GUST'S UP TO 25 FREAKN BRRRRR .SOMETIMES I WISH I LIVED ALITTLE LOWER .LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD A GREAT WEEKEND. KEEP EM COMING
What an awesome day! I couldn't believe it when I seen that Clovis just laying out there as perfect as could be. Congratulations I know you gotta be pumped right now. How much you want for that lucky rock? Ha Ha.
That clovis is SICK!!!!! I am amazed what rain can do everytime I go out and hunt. You have probably walked over that point 10 times and finally it came up!
Hej your luck is better than mine at the momentbut thats a great boost to my optomism .What did they use those butterfly cresents for ?? Well young man happy hunting Best wishes from Teddy :-))
@MikalskiEdward Thanks!! Different theories on the crescents, from a transverse point to a very specific scraper. I think the butterfly crescents were a halfted scraper processing "something" They kept making them the same for the job they were used for. The larger one I found that day was well used, almost losing its classic butterfly shape
@greatbasinman I am pretty sure we DONT have anything like these beautys but i found something strange last week ,lacking the beauty of your butterflys ,just fashioned out of a flake .I will find it and send a vid asp .Your vids are an inspiration .Happy hunting Teddy :-))
What a great video and some may differ but we believe in the "Lucky (quartz) Rock"! Absolutely amazing day kinda hard to hear but was that a Clovis? Great assortment of finds!!
@rbeneveds Thanks Rob and Terrie!!! "Lucky Rock" power!!!!! Sorry about the wind, that point is considered to be a late Clovis variant, I think they even look a little Folsom, all the same time frame!!!
GBM,GOOD GRACIOUS-You weren't just rippin 'n runnin , you were scalping them bald.I don't think I've EVER seen so many of such high prestige artifacts found in one day. What did you do last midnight? Pull a Robert Johnson and sell your soul at the crossroads ??? KeepOn, PM!(%!
@pestleman1951 Thanks PM!!! I'm still on cloud nine, hope the weight of my tired soul doesn't send me earthbound quite yet!! Its all about the power of the quartz and of course being at the right place at the right time!!!
Very nice haul!
