Brings back so many memories. I was always jealous of the second sopranos. The lemon peel part was no where near as annoyingly fun as the Cinnamon Cinnamon Don't Forget the Cinnamon part. Thank you for posting. I shared it with my fellow choir alumni friends. And we all loved it.
hhahaha this is hilarious!! We always do this every-year- only the Seniors have a big food fight as themselves and the underclassman sing too....its fun!!
Is this WHS from Woodstock,IL? If so I though Mr. Rausch had done this since the old days when the Jazz Choir was Sunshine Spirit and they still wore the red and white faux tux outfits.
my high school choir did that last year. i think it was the treble choir that sang it since advanced and concert choir was busy with the elgin shymphony choir. :] haha they had actual props though. but i loved this one too!! :D
lol we are doing this song in my high school but we are singing on risers . . . all 78 of us -_-" and we have 4 bass and 3 tenners ^^" but you can here the tenners no prob XD i wish we could do somthing like that. you know put movments in it. i liked it alot. we have the same parts to it. but we all say fruitcake. ^^
my schools madrigal does it differently, basses do the same thing, tenors do "Way up high" alto's do " pecans and walnuts" 2nd sopranos do "now you add" and 1sts do "cinnamon cinnamon"
Yeah! only the greatest! This was his song ... i donno if the high school still does it sence his passing in 03 ... and i gradumated 04 so i donno whats gone down sence.
i remember my sister sang this song when she was in eighth grade and i was in sixth grade. i wanted to sing it when i was in seventh grade so i told my choir teacher that i liked it the year before, so we got to sing it. in seventh grade i sang the tenor part (pecans, walnuts) and my voice changed in eighth grade so i sang bass (sift the flour). the teacher i had in seventh grade left and made it a tradition at her new school. the one that was at my junior high made it a tradition as well.
