That cars slow. I test drove a ram with the 5.7 and its weak without a trailer. Chevy and Toyota may not have matched the 7-70 warranty at the time, but they sure as hell beat it in quality and reliability.

What do you mean "standard?" In 2500s, the hemis come standard. Cummins is an option. Besides Hemispherical heads in a gas engine is an inefficient design.

That car was HOT....I saw all the hot rods, new on the lot....The 440 superbird sat out on the lot.....and the Hemi Superbird sat in the showroom........ I remember looking at all the cudas, colors and engine sizes...But they were 'just' new cars.....If ya had a drivers license you could test drive anything on the lot.............ALONE!!!!!
Next was a "nice looking little car". I recall him saying "I don't need a hood scoop with a big hole in the hood, with an engine with 2 carburetors." I was there I saw that ulgy car (to me) with that 'baby shit green color' with a grill looked like a shark (1971 Hemi Cuda) I remember the sticker...$5,199.
