@brotherofdeen the Holy Quran is a book of revelations and a book of guidance for every generation as it has no time frame. ALLAH swt has gifted us with this book of guidance in order to learn from it & adapt to it for any time. on the other hand ur claiming the verse about Prophet Musa (a.s) asking ALLAH to appoint a successor was only for his time. NOTE: the Holy Quran is not a novel its a book of principles.

@brotherofdeen in ISLAM we believe ISLAM was the 1 n only religion of ALLAH swt which means Prophet ADAM (a.s) was also muslim and his message was ISLAM. ISLAM was perfected with the final messenger Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hf) but with what ur claiming that marrying ur sister at the time of Adam (a.s) was allowed then ur going against the belief of Islam from the begining of time.

in summary shia believe a caliph is a REPRESENTITIVE OF ALLAH swt. which means ONLY ALLAH swt can choose such representitive.

on the other hand sunnis have come up with many different methods in choosing the caliph of the final messenger of ALLAH.

1st caliph Abu baker chosen by election

2nd was omar handed over by abu baker

3rd was othman in an election between 6 members

4th was given to IMAM ALI as a saviour

misyar marriage is very common in saudia arabia jordan n egypt but the omar worshippors would say yeah maybe it is a sunni practice but i dont believe in it.

Misyar is another perfect example of sunni practices, which is the exact practice as MUT3A but there is no duration to the contract.

it is a marriage where u do not have to support the woman finacially etc.. which is the same as mut3a but these people think they r smarter than ALLAH swt..

lil do they realise that if a woman in a misyar relationship finally meets the right man to support her n if she has a child but her misyar partner refuses to break the relationship. then the woman suffers.
