i own that phone for more than 1 1/2 years and i have to say that i hate it more now than i loved it at the beginning...i paid over 400 euros with contract when it was released. i restarts itself permanently and isnt able to play videos and music without any problem. When i bought it i entered a group in a social network called "i hate iphone" but now i think i m gonna go for it because its so much better, I'll never ever buy a nokia again. i had 3 nokia and all three were completely rubbish

The N96 just sucks, it has a slow dual ARM9 264 Mhz CPU and it lacks the chip 3D, THe N95 8GB has dual ARM11 333 Mhz plus chip 3D plus better batery life (N95 8GB 1200 mAh vs N96 950 mAh) the battery and CPU of the N96 really really sucks, on the N96 you can't play quake 3 arena due the the lack of the chip 3D and that slow CPU

i'm going to buy a n96 tomorow but can you tell of the n96 better is than the n95 8gb because everybody says somenthing else some people like the n96 and some people says the n95 8gb is better, do you think that the n96 better is than the n95 8gb?

it dipends on what u want,the nokia n96 is more slower then the n95 8gb,but the n95 8gb is bit bulky doesnt hav as good videoing,but u can edit videos on the 8gb but not on the n96.the n96 has a mem card slot and duble the mem of the n95 8gb.the n96 looks nicer feels nicer but not as well bilt.if u want a fast phone and bilt well then the n95 8gb,but if u want a phone to blow ur mined with the screen quality,looks feel, D.V.B.H tuner,then go for the n n96,both hav the same battery as well .

The firmware 20.05 isn't available on Vodafone in the UK yet, so I'm stuck with it being slow for the forseeable future. The N95 8Gb is much better - it worked perfectly, the battery isn't bad for a smartphone and I regret upgrading it

the problem is with the nokia n95 is that it is a bit chunky and not made that well.i do like the n95 dont get me wrong,but the n96 is a pritty good phone.but the one im looking fowerd to is the n97,i will have that in for review soon!

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!! I've got one, and it is easily the worst phone I've ever had. I had an N95 8Gb before, and whilst this phone looks to be a step up, it simply doesn't work properly. It takes at least 30 seconds to open any menu items, including texts, and plays any ringtone it fancies, which is not good when you're in a meeting. It could have been good....

The n95 8gb is better in terms of hardware. The n95 / n95 8gb both have a hardware graphics accelerator, the n96 doesn't. This is very evident when playing 3d games. The n96 is soo laggy while both the n95 and 8gb version are very smooth. The n96 also has a slow cpu.

I have one of these, buy it if you want a phone that freezes, forgets to ring when youre awaiting an urgent phonecall, takes 20 seconds from when you open a text till the text appears on the screen, turns itself off 3 or 4 times a week and can only be switched back on when you remove and replace the battery. Shit like that. AND I'm not alone. This all started after 2 weeks of its arrival. I recommend you carry a vibrator in your pocket rather than this. It's fuckin shit guys, honestly.

well it depends what u want in a phone,see the pixon has a bigger screen,and a betta camara..but the nokia has a verry good screen,that gives u good video play back.and the memory is verry good.

so tell me what u look for in a phone and then i will tell u .

I took out a contract from T mobile for 18 months, pay £25.00 a month with 750mins, unlimited txts as well as landlines for a GOOGLE PHONE. I did not like the phone, hard to use, so i swap that with samsung pixon, now i not sure to stick with the phone or swap it for N96.

I am thinking as my pixon phone is the lastest than n96 i might as well stick with it. According to what the staff said at phone4u. the n96 get damage in the system very quiclky.

The Nokia N96 Is Different From The N95 8gb, But Also Similar. The Battery Is Not That Bad And I Use My Phone Alot. Great Phone !!!

you would need to go on the web on your phone,type in bbc iplayer in the search,and then when u go on the website,u need to download the applacation,and its free!!hope that helps.

N95 is still better than N85 and N96. Everytime my brother bought an N85 for example, he had to get rid of it.

His Iphone speaker broke.

His first N85 didn't turn on anymore.

His second N85 speaker broke.

So I've used my N95 and its still good condition and working and gave it to brother, and it still works!
