Yes, the corner bug and it's variations work on the PS versions of the classic TR games. However, flicker motion doesn't always work the same way between different versions of TR2.
It shouldn't be very hard. This run only took me like... A hundred attempts or so. Out of the improvements, the only thing that's hard to get right is bypassing the ice wall while landing the running jump out of it exactly on the Talion. That one would probably increase the attempt count a bit...
At 0:33? The mask is not picked up. The trigger for the door is here, but it's a plain trigger, not a pick-up trigger. Perhaps you meant picking up the hammer?
After reviewing the video frame by frame, I noticed there was over half a second of leeway, so I should've experimented more with different step sequences.
You can "hang around" for a while as long as you don't press any keys. You can finish a lot of levels dead, and I've never experienced any problem with it.
Damn, you didn't waste a single second!

Wow..that is a great run. But I really question how they gave you credit for finishing the level when you died at the end..still, awesome.
