My first week of playing WoW (2nd day actually, way back in 2006), someone kited the green dragon from Duskwood into SW. Me being the silly little newb lvl 9 warrior I was, ran up with my starter sword and shield to engage...and was promptly squished. Nothing in the game after that was as big a motivator to get leveled so I could join in on what I presumed to be a normal feature of the game.
Then I eventually learned the truth :( Still, for a brand new player, it was an epic encounter.
Actually not too long ago, someone kited the more badass of the 3 bronze drakes from the Caverns of Time to Org, they intended to bring him to org for an epic battle, but by the time he was in the Drag about 100 players chilling in org including me helped hill him... besides that, you could kite Devilsaur to Org and killa few lowbies but not much..
Oh.. Kiting fel reaver to honor hold?? Who remembers that... Fel reaver DESTROYED so many alliance.. gosh.. the glory days
@Sableneko That's devilishly awesome! :-D So... What? The guys who lured him in just sat back and watched the carnage afterwards? And once he was in the city, how did he decide where to go? Just following the fleeing people?

This particular demon was (at the time) a max-level boss who required 40 players to defeat. Every time he kills somone, he regains health. And somebody lured him to this capital city...which is full of low-level characters who die in one or two shots...
He was literally UNKILLABLE because he healed so fast from all the kills he was getting.

@duathadruid They've changed his mechanics a few times since this happened. He used to not only gain health back, but his total HP pool increased when he killed anything. On top of that, when he was released, world bosses didn't have a leash, so as long as you could keep him in combat he wouldn't disengage. Also, it was more than just one hunter, there were several, along with healers. Had to sort of make a chain to keep atleast one person alive for the kite.

Blizz had to actually shut down and reset the server. Heard some of the people involved with kiting him there got banned for it.

This isn't a private server. Pulling Kazzak from blasted lands to Stormwind was possible back then. Each death gave him around 25k health, which at the time, was around 6-7 times the healthpool of a normal character. When guilds where learning this boss DPS classes did around 400 DPS in raids.
So in this video, he is pretty much unkillable and would have had to be removed by a GM or moved away from all the NPC's and low level players.

Congrats you fucking noob - but this video was PRE BC when the top was level 60. Clearly you dont know shit about this raid boss either. Not even at level 80 could your faggy guild kill him because of all the level 1s he was killing.
i havnt been with kazzak but i remember kruul attacking if ages ago i was a lvl 9 gnme mage lol , i went up the hill and everthing was on fire, hounds where running round.
Haven't seen this in like 2 years, Probably the most memorable video for me from back then, the ending where endless waves of shadow bolts go flying across SW, props to anyone who kited him!
they made kazzak harder if they kill him within 2 minutes he cant be killed and also they made him even more harder because his aoe shadow goes back and forth in a flurry
This is still the greatest moment in wow for me. This happened on the Kel'Thuzad realm in vanilla wow - hunters from the guild fortis kited him from blasted lands to stormwind. Because of his abilities, he was nearly impossible to kill so long as he kept killing unfortunate lowbies or guards. He was despawned by a gm and this incident resulted in a hotfix preventing him from being kited again =(
I love this vid with the song. I watched others and they put gay ass sympthony crap music on theirs to where it made it to where I just could not stand to watch it the music was sooo bad. lol
I'd like to see any horde city do better, at that time he did a 1.5k shadow bolt to everyone in range and when he killed someone he healed for a ton (I think it was to full but I believe they adjusted it to 250k or something like that, anyways it was alot) that means whenever a lowbie logged in or a merchant was killed he healed, big time. Oh and as an added bonus he goes bazerk after 3 minutes of being in combat ramping up his damage big time.

This is probably the greatest WoW video on the internet. Its not fake... It was done on one server before blizz fixed it by putting a leash on him.
It wasnt just "someone" it was several people if not an entire raid group that kited him there.
