a lot of dir en grey's old songs are upbeat sounding with sad lyrics. Just look at -I'll-, 304 Goushitsu Hakushi no Sakura, and others. and i agree with XVeriandomNess, Uroboros is more complex. but their recent music lacks the emotion that lies so heavily in their old music.

it seem's kyo's vocals have patched up, and he's alot more honest in his lyric's nowaday's, not that there based of him anyway. but they sound accurate.

these people are on different levels and can't really be compared without it being like comparing apples and oranges or animals and plants. you just can't. they are very different and all unique and different fans have dfferent opinions. I find all 4 men to be admirable singers and actually, Kyo came after them for a timeline. dir en grey was fromed in 1997. Gackt was in Malice Mizer for 2 years before diru was formed. and Gackt came before both Klaha and Seth. Gackt was in a band or 2 ...

before he was in Malice Mizer so he has more practice with singing so should be expected to be the original and that Klaha and Seth would sound like Gackt. not trying to be mean or anything but you should really do your research before you make a comment post. if you don't believe what i'm saying to be the truth, just check out wikipedia and llook up dir en grey then look up malice mizer and then you will know that what I'm saying to be the truth. please dont think i'm trying to be rude.
