So far Islam to me has shown both evidence in its Quranic claims and faith as in believing in a supreme being. Muslims believe in Jesus's teachings, if only we have his original teachings. The catholic Bible includes more books, but the gospels in both Bibles aren't different/contradictory. Didn't someone technically write down Quran too? and What if mahammud made a mistake? The translation of the Gloriuse Qur'an is not the Qur'an its JUST a Translation and the rules that apply to the Arabic Original Manuscript of the Qur'an (that is with ALL the muslims) like it cannot be touched when a person is in state of major impurity, DO NOT apply to the translation. difference between Koran/Torah and Bible: the Koran or Torah are scriptures directly from One God, but Bible is merely a collection of verses and chapters written by different authors. you can open a bible and you will see the name of Luke, Matthew, Mark etc...that's why there are lots of contradicted verses found in the bible due to this fact.

Most bibles are translated from the New King James version, which was biased anyways for numerous reasons. The most accurate way to translate the bible is from the ancient greek texts, which I believe is in the NIV version.
1st generation of Church Fathers, we find numerous quotes of the NT. Examples: Clement of Alexandria(150-212AD), has 2,406 quotes of NT, except 3 books. Tertullian, elder of the church in Carthage(160-220), quotes the NT 7,258(3,800 from gospels). Justin Martyr, 330 quotes; etc., a total of 36,289 quotes of NT.
Read up on Church Fathers, they would NEVER corrupt the bible. They died and were martyred by the Romans because of the Truth.

Uthman the Third Caliph, because of the multiplicity of Qurans circulating, had them all collected then produced one standard text-destroying all other manuscripts. All handwritten documents prior to the invention of the printing press contain textual variations-thats a simply fact!!

So far Islam to me has shown both evidence in its Quranic claims and faith as in believing in a supreme being. Muslims believe in Jesus's teachings, if only we have his original teachings. Then again, that was why Islam came, to correct the wrong. I agree with you, the video is kinda 'smug' though. :)

we already have confirmation of the trinity in Matthew 28:19. Both the Nazarenes and Ebionites are again later sects as i have already said the canonical gospels are the earliest. The Ebionites rejected the deity of Jesus and the virgin birth but confirmed the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus so this confirms Islam how? The Nazarenes believed Jesus was the son of god and believed in the NT, just they focused more on the law .

John 7:53 -811 is considered by scholars to be an apocryphal story added in the margins of a manuscript that was alter inserted into the text by a later scribe. The johanine comma in 1 John is a far alter addition from the 16th century.

And furthermore the canonical gospels the ones contained in the bible are by far the earliest gospels with the other Gnostic gospels being written in the 2nd and 3rd centuries.

The translation of the Gloriuse Qur'an is not the Qur'an its JUST a Translation and the rules that apply to the Arabic Original Manuscript of the Qur'an (that is with ALL the muslims) like it cannot be touched when a person is in state of major impurity, DO NOT apply to the translation. AND the Translation in now way shape or form can be used as a substitute for the Original Arabic Qur'an that has been preserved since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The 'one scholar' you talked about, was talking about divine abrogation (where verses are repealed/replaced by others), which occured during Muhammed's (phuh) life time (since he was the one who told us about abrogation). Most bibles are translated from the New King James version, which was biased anyways for numerous reasons. The most accurate way to translate the bible is from the ancient greek texts, which I believe is in the NIV version.

1st generation of Church Fathers, we find numerous quotes of the NT. Examples: Clement of Alexandria(150-212AD), has 2,406 quotes of NT, except 3 books. Tertullian, elder of the church in Carthage(160-220), quotes the NT 7,258(3,800 from gospels). Justin Martyr, 330 quotes; etc., a total of 36,289 quotes of NT.
Read up on Church Fathers, they would NEVER corrupt the bible. They died and were martyred by the Romans because of the Truth.

Every one of these arguments can be used against the Quran. Uthman the Third Caliph, because of the multiplicity of Qurans circulating, had them all collected then produced one standard text-destroying all other manuscripts. Even with this there ARE textual variations in the text!! Muslims don't publish critical texts of the Quran based on the most ancient manuscripts. All handwritten documents prior to the invention of the printing press contain textual variations-thats a simply fact!!

No, there is no 7 versions; there are seven arabic dialects that the early Quran was written in, get your facts straight.
And no, the Gnostic gospels presented sayings of Jesus that did not exist in other gospels, not just intepretations. these sayings constitute other preseved accounts.

Why did they choose death over good living? They believed in something (right or wrong that's another issue -- I call them terrorists).
