@Amoney100 its probly safer than upright rows. high pulls use momentum from the triple extention to get the bar moving up. your arms arm just like straps
Also execute a fast catch just as it passes the knees. the impulse force from this alone will generate tons of adaptation. Funny just came up with something similar to this just a few moments ago. and the attempt at reversing power is the only difference. Nice work!
So, this exercise combines the RDL and the High Pull. Interesting idea.

i do the same thing but when deadlifting use a little bit more of my legs, i also pull a lot higher till my elbows pop out nice and high
