Anyone know where one could obtain a high quality DVD version of this unofficial show? 480, 720? I just picked up Deep Purple's Phoenix Rising...and, that version of the 'Rises Over Japan' show looks HD on my new TV...Sweet.

@kyla2112 this is 83', earlier than "S.O.T.N" Also, Whitesnake was in the dark ages here. Nobody then gave a shit about them.. Not until "Here I go Again", the single, was released..Then , they had international success.

What a true gem...Had no idea that a classic WS vid of this quality even existed...Great lineup great setlist...Caught this one bac to bac with Deep Purple "Rises Over Japan 1975"....Truly awesome Coverdale concerts which i've never seen before...Don't believe that either show has ever received an 'official' DVD release...Can anyone point me towards a good source to obtain these much needed gigs? i'd purchase a disc of the show or down a torrent if need be....Anyone have any info?

Wir entwickeln überhaupt kein Unrechtbewußtsein mehr für gestohlene Musik. Und dem schmeißen von Perlen vor Säuen. Eigentlich richtige Sch...ße!!!

So wird Musik zum Kaugummiautomatenprodukt und wir Musiker zu Clowns.

Ihr tut uns keinen gefallen damit. Unsere eigenen Kunden werden zu Feinden!!!

@MikelJaysinger ich denke, solange das konzert nicht aufgezeichnet wurde, bzw solange heute keine aufzeichnungen mehr zu erwerben sind, ist es doch garnicht schlecht, sowas hier hochzuladen, immerhin kriegen so auch die fans was davon mit, die nichtmal anwesend sein konnten, weil sie einfach zu jung sind.^^

ich denke es ist gut zumindest teile seiner musik hier hochzuladen, ob man sie nun populär machen will, oder sie einfach teilen, für beide vorhaben is das internet heutzutage der beste weg :P

war vielleicht etwas hart ausgedrückt von mir. In anderen Threads habe ich einen verständlicheren, weniger emotionalen Kommentar gepostet. Sorry. Bei diesen alten Konzerten, sehe ich es mittlerweile auch als ein Stück Musikgeschichte, die teilbar ist. ;-) Ich prangere das posten von aktuellen Alben + Konzerten an. Glen Drover hat z.B. vorgehabt eine Tour mit neuem Album zu machen. Ein Witzbold hat gleich nach erscheinen alle Songs gepostet. Ich hätte kein Bock mehr zu touren.
